About this item

  • This automotive ignition probe is a kind of inductive capacitor probe which must be used in conjunction with oscilloscopes.
  • Pickup clip is a attenuator, which is used for picking up high-pressure attenuation for low pressure. Thus protecting the oscilloscope from electrical shock. It can make each cylinder ignition voltage changing with time directly from the oscilloscope display.
  • This pickup lead has three ends. One is BNC male adapter for connecting oscilloscopes. One is a clip for grounding connection. One is pickup clip, which is used for connecting the high voltage Leads.
  • Suitable for testing a spark ignition secondary overlapping wave, overlapping waves parameters, thus achieved detection and diagnosis of engine ignition position.

I bought this so I can know when a specific cylinder is firing (Not necessarily to check the waveform at this point).It works great, as expected. Would definitely buy again. Awesome value.
