I don't know what one could say about a metal rod that you hammer into the ground, but so far everything seems as expected. I use this to ground my antenna runs. The included wire was nice, my previous rod did not come with any wire. Overall for the price it is a pretty good grounding kit.

It's a solid copper grounding rod and it works well with my solar electric fence energizer from long distances

Just what I was looking for to ground my shortwave radio. The wire provided was a larger gauge than needed, so I used some that I had, but the rod itself is perfect.

This is a very solid 4' grounding rod. It's not copper, as others have noted, but copper-clad. As such, it's not really suitable for permanent grounding of a house, or something like that. However, for my situation, which is to occasionally ground a generator, it should be more than sufficient.Construction of the rod seems pretty sturdy, which, given it's steel or some similar metal coated in copper, makes sense. I appreciate the little tabs on the top, which prevent the clamp with the wire from slipping off; I don't recall the last ground rod I bought many years ago having that, and it's a nice touch. The grounding wire is more than long enough for my purposes, and comes zip-tied to the rod. That'll make storage a bit easier until the ground thaws enough for me to actually install this.Overall, if you're not using this to ground a lightning rod or your house, this seems like a great option for when you need a local ground!

This is a pretty good grounding rod for light use such as grounding an antenna pole, but as other people mention, it's certainly not suitable for real electrical systems in the home or anything like that. But it'll be great for my antenna, for sure! One thing I don't love is that this thing is 100% steel, or some sort of ferrous metal. Every part of it is magnetic. The rod, the wire, the set screw, the bracket, all of it. I have posted photos showing a magnet stuck to each different part. So this is not copper anything, it's all copper washed metal. I guess that'll help reduce oxidation, but the increased conductivity of copper is what I really wanted, and copper-wash isn't going to make that happen. But like I said, it'll work for my purposes, and being a smaller size than the normal big ones they use for houses, it'll be easier to install. Overally I like it, but considering nothing on it is copper, it's a bit overpriced I think.
