I got the biggest size. I had to custom cut it myself to get the shape of my cushion. Need to have really sharp knife. And maybe some help if you’re doing it your self. Other than that the firmness is great. Love it. Will be ordering more. For the rest of my couches.

Put this in a couple of cushions in a couch. Started out very firm but has given away to moderately firm. It should last as long as the couch does. I hope.

My brand new couch was so uncomfortable and this foam cushion saved the day! The cushions on my new couch were too soft and I sank into the couch every time I sat on it. My back would be killing me! I gave it a month hoping I'd adjust but I didn't. I was kicking myself thinking I'd have to take the financial loss and go find another couch. But after fussing with the filling in the back cushions for a month it finally occurred to me to change the foam in the seat cushions. I read online it is expensive to have an upholsterer do it, so I found this firm foam cushion, read the reviews, double checked my measurements and made the purchase. It arrived 3 days sooner than it was supposed to. It was packaged nicely and popped right open when it dropped out of the box (from me holding the opened box upside down). There was no odor/ off gas. I have to admit the challenge was cutting it into 3 cushions. The internet suggested using an electric carving knife, but that was actually tedious and made a mess. (Maybe because this foam is thick as well as dense. IDK) My utility knife cut it very nicely, but the razor was much to small for the 6" thick foam. So, it was definitely a process. But it was so worth it! After replacing the old foam with the new foam (wrapping it in the same batting from the old foam, and fighting with stuffing it into the covers) when I sit on my new couch, I am supported rather than sinking. Others may find it a bit too firm, but I am VERY HAPPY with this purchase! The $69.35 I spent on this foam, saved me from having to spend a lot of money on another new couch.Side note: I used this 6" foam cushion to replace 7' foam cushions. The seat cushions looked overstuffed before and now they look normal. Of course the seat is slightly lower but for those that may be wondering, the 1" difference can work.

I have an outdoor love seat w/ 2 side chairs that I have had for years now. I replaced the cushions for all at a cost of $400 . Those cushions were a total waste of money, they flattened out by year two. This time I purchased this 6” high density foam and cut it myself to stuff my pillows. Now that’s a cushion. I’m sure these will last a good few years. Not going to lie, it was a bit of a challenge and I burnt out my electric knife cutting it, I also needed my strong son to help me stuff them into the seat cases. There is no way only one person can do that on their own. Once we got them in they look absolutely lovely and is a better seat than it was when purchased. Highly recommended!
