This works fabulously for my dog who hasn’t got front dew claws! Got fed up of having to hold her chew sticks etc and thought there has to be something that can hold it for her and here you go! It’s really well made and worth the money! Saves my hands being clawed to death 🤪👍

I love this bully stick holder, I always get nervous when my dogs get to the end of their bully sticks due to the risk of choking, this product mitigates the issue. It has also held up great with my power chewer.

This didn’t work for me because the hole to put food in wasn’t big enough, might work very well for a bully stick though.

I have a standard/larger sized Chihuahua, but he's still a chi, with his tiny little paws and tiny mouth. I was a bit skeptical when I got this item in, as it looked pretty large, but don't worry if you have a smaller dog because they just have more room to put their paws on the red bone holder, for comfortable and safe chewing. He is a tenacious little sausage we're working with on weight management, and VERY food motivated (as you would think) so it was REALLY important to both find busy chews AND ensure he wouldn't be swallowing the end pieces hole AND wouldn't be choking himself or hurting himself trying to chew on the long sticks. This worked PERFECTLY for the standard-sized 6" bully/pizzle chews I give him occasionally to curb his boredom food seeking! It holds the pizzle stick in WHATEVER orientation, so if the pizzle doesn't fit turned one way, I can turn it the longer way and it still accommodates.HOWEVER!!! I do not think you should try to use this with any of the big-dog pizzles (the kind that are thick-to-extra thick). Note that if the pizzle is too thick around, the width won't matter because it will not fit in the hole. The length is not really an issue unless you get one of the really really long ones that are extra thick. For a longer than 6" stick, you can just put the bone at a halfway point and when the dog gets to the end of one side, they can turn it over and chew the other side down, so the middle part becomes the end piece you throw away. But if the pizzle is too THICK it will not fit no matter the length. Also, the material of the bone is not one I would give to a large-breed that is a heavy chewer, as they WILL chew into the material to get the stick loose and it IS plastic (not to be digested). If your dog is likely to chew on the actual bone, you may want to only offer this and the pizzle with supervision, or take the pizzle and holder BOTH away before they get down to the nubbins and start chewing on the holder directly. My chi is a light to medium chewer with teeth that are not too sharp, so it is safe for him, but I would probably not buy one of these for my neighbors who have a great pyrenes LGD.All in all, this is a great product that does exactly what it says it will do. As long as you make sure you use the right size of pizzle and watch to see if your dog tries to chew on the bone directly so you can intervene if they do, this is a GREAT product and I highly recommend it. Especially for the medium-to-extrasmall breed dogs. If you have a smaller dog, this is VERY good for safe chewing!

It only holds medium-ish sized bully sticks. Smaller sticks can be doubled up to make them stay in the holder.

This holder is substantial, weighing in at one pound. It works great if you don't want your pet to be eating large chunks of Bully Stick. The limitation is it really only works properly with thick Bully Sticks. Anything smaller is not truly secured by the holding mechanism which should be 3/8 of an inch longer than the version we own.

This is a great product. After a bath, I give my 95 lb Doberman a bully stick, but they are always so difficult for her to hold between her paws. Usually, when I see that she is down to the end of the bully stick I have to take the last little bit from her. When I pull the last inch or two out of her mouth I always get a long gooey portion of the bully stick that she has chewed on but not chewed off. Usually, this gooey portion is down her throat and when I pull on the unchewed last part of the stick, I pull this portion gooey portion out. Really gross and quite the choking hazard so I always watch her very closely. The Chew Champ worked great as you can see from the picture. Easy to use by untwisting one end, placing a portion of the bully stick in, and then twisting to tighten. I gave her the stick and she immediately went to the shade to start chewing. She put her paws on the Chew Champ and was easily able to hold it while she chewed on the stick. This time was different though. Because she had a good hold on the Chew Champ, which held the bully stick in place, at the end of chewing the stick down she only had a little piece left and it was held firmly in the Chew Champ. No gooey, long piece of the bully stick because she was able to actually eat off pieces since she could hold it so well. This product is made of quality material. I was very surprised at how heavy it was, how easy it was to use and how great it worked. I am so happy with my purchase and my dog had a much better experience, this time, chewing on her bully stick. I would definitely purchase this item again. I would also buy it as a gift for someone and their dog. I purchased the 8" Size and it is perfect for my 95lb dog. Great purchase, very satisfied!

I have two dogs that love bully sticks. I had previously purchased a Bow Wow Labs Bully Buddy (for $29.95!!) for one of my dogs, and it works okay. My other dog chews slowly and will only chew for a while then let his bully sticks go until he's in the mood for it again, and he would NEVER swallow the end pieces. The problem is my other dog is a very greedy, very food-driven fat Chihuahua Pug mix who will chew a 6" to 7" inch bully stick until it's gone (and swallow the end piece when it gets too small) and that's too much bully stick for her 14 lb size IMO. However, if I try to remove a stick from her while she's chewing, she defiantly swallows what's left rather than let me take it... even if it's 2" to 3" inches long! She did this a couple times and it freaked me out, I had to carefully watch her for a day or two to make sure the swallowed piece didn't cause any problems. This is when I got the first bully stick holder, for her. But, even though it worked for the one bully stick I would give her, that didn't solve all the problems because as soon as my other dog, tired of chewing, would walk away leaving his bully stick, she would leave hers in the bully stick holder and run over and steal his loose stick. So I knew I had to buy another holder, but I wasn't thrilled about spending another $30 bucks. I looked and looked on Amazon (and other sites) and only found the Bow Wow brand and one other brand that was cheaper but didn't have a screw grip (only rubber prongs to hold the stick in place... sort of), so I tried the cheaper one and it was worthess because the sticks would come loose. So, back to Amazon, and this time I found these GoSport Bully Stick holders and they're $10 cheaper than the Bow Wow brand. I bought one and it turns out they are even better made than the BowWow Bully Buddys. I think the design is better (my dogs seem to prefer this one too, easier for them to hold down with their paws). Also, the screw end is easier for me to use for tightening the stick in place and the screw tip is thicker and sturdier and likelier to last longer. Overall, I think this bully stick holder is the best bully stick holder on the market, and you'll save money too!
