I really, really like this stepper. I'm an older lady with joint problems, so the fact that I can exercise while sitting is really a gamechanger. I can work the stepper while watching television, while attending online calls and seminars, and even while just talking with my family. I'm able to use it throughout the day, which has vastly increased my movement. I really like this and would definitely order it again.

I got this for my standing desk. There are times I can't get twice to the gym in a single day and other times I am at my standing desk needing to work. This keeps my legs active. And a twenty-minute workout on this will wake you up nicely.Pay close attention to the directions and adjust that knob. Doing so will make it just the right height for you. If you skimp, it won't give you a good workout and you will be stressing your ankles. If I have to give a single meh about it - the noise. Initially there is a light metal whack sound each time you step down and it connects with the device legs. And after about 5 uses, it creaks a bit. I don't detect any structural issues, but I do recommend being cautious. It's possible it already needs a bit of lubricant.

I have mixed feelings about this mini-stepper. On one hand, I think it has value for me as a means to get in some walking-type exercise in on days with heavy rain or strong winds that would make brisk outdoor walks uncomfortable or even dangerous. It was also nice that the stepper requires zero assembly (unless you count attaching the resistance bands). And, it seems very sturdy (and heavy!).On the other hand, there are a number of small issues that bother me:1. The button that is supposed to reset the LCD display counter data simply does not work2. It is not clear to me (or documented properly) how the knob adjusts the stepper height3. There is no, as far as I can tell, a way to adjust the stepper resistance level (not the resistance bands)4. My opinion is that the pedals may be a bit too small (not long enough) for some people. I have average sized feet and the pedals are a good fit when barefooted. But, I think they are too short when I wear shoes.5. This may be unique to me: I feel a pain in my left hip when using the stepper. It may simply be that I’m “stepping wrong” and have been trying to adjust how I move on the stepper. Finally, this is not an issue with the stepper itself. It is an information point for those who want to track metrics with third party tools like step trackers and smart watches. My watch has a “stair stepper” exercise setting that seems to work when using the stepper. However, my advance step counting watch does not seem to have a setting to track metrics when using the stepper.

Got this for a small apartment and it works great.I can use it while taking a break to think, I can use it in front of the TV.Requires a bit of balance, hold on to a chair if you are having a hard time balancing at first. The arm bands are nice, helps work the shoulders a bit while on it.The digital display is also nice if you want to keep track of what you are doing or how long have you been on it.
