The tables in our office are not smooth on top, so I bought this to provide a smooth writing surface. This product is also not smooth on top, it is very bumpy. Not what I was looking for :(

I was looking for something to sit a sewing machine on that protects the desk, doesn't slide around. This is perfect. I bought (and returned) a sewing machine "mat" that was awful. Looked around and found this. I purchased the larger size. It works great!Thanks to those here who answered my question about using it for a sewing machine. It does work! Appreciate it!!

I really like these desk mats, so I bought 2 for my l-shaped desk. They were priced perfectly, the quality/look is great, and they're very easy to clean. Both my optical mice glide perfectly over them. I would highly recommend these if you want your desk to look more put together.

This keeps its place very nicely. Does not move around. Smooth on the top for easy movement with keyboard, mouse, notepads, etc. Beautiful colorful that does not ware with daily use. Overall, great buy. Very impressed.

I have had this mouse pad for over 3 months now and have had no issues with it. When I first got it I found that it was a bit tough to permanently have it sit face down, but after a few weeks and having heavier items on the corners I was able to solve the issue. Great bang for your buck.

I really like this desk mat. It has held up nicely, and it looks great too. Great color, and you can write on top of it with ease. It hasn't curled up at all, and I've had it a couple of months now.

Bought this mat for my son's ikea desk. ( alex) it is the perfect fit and size. The thickness is just right, it is easy to clean and has the perfect amount of cushion. It is made with strong material. Has a nice amount of thickness giving it the best cushioning possible. Highly recommend

After an employee damaged our 7-month-old conference room table with her laptop, we sent close-up pics to the manufacturer, but they indicated it was not repairable.It appeared the laptop had overheated, and 'melted' a small area of the laminate.We had to come up with a professional-looking, yet inexpensive solution to this problem bc although the damage was only approximately the size of a quarter, it stuck out like a sore thumb!We first purchased a different brand of mat (just one) from Amazon, but we sent it back bc the quality in the edge stitching was lacking. Plus, we could not get rid of the 'curl' caused by it being shipped rolled up.Although the Gorilla mats are also shipped in tubes, they flattened out in a short amount of time.After giving a single Gorilla Grip mat a try, we decided to purchase five more. One is now at the receptionist's desk, and the other five are in front of the conference room chairs. (It would have looked odd to only have one covering the burn mark).I was concerned about this sort of mat being too soft for writing on paper, but that has not been a problem. Everyone seems to love them.We're pleased that not only is the existing damage out of the sight of clients, but FURTHER damage is being prevented.Also, as anyone who has owned a laminate desk knows, this type of 'medium cherry' finish is HORRIBLE when it comes to showing fingerprints. It is much easier/quicker to clean these mats weekly, vs rubbing off fingerprints from the laminate surface EVERY SINGLE TIME the table gets used.The mats have also proven helpful when our wireless mouse (and keyboard) is needed for Zoom conferences, considering NO MOUSE PAD IS NEEDED.The only downside I have found with this product is the fact that they are not as slip resistant as we would prefer -- though I suspect that would not be the case with other types of table top finishes.
