This looks very nice and is made very well I would buy again. Because it holds the water and I'm concerned of mosquitoes I will be drilling a hole in the bottom so the water can drain out.

I bought this item to use as a bird bath. I prefer to purchase items that remain. functional for a long time...perhaps forever, if possible. I did purchase a similar item in the past, although it was powder coated steel and this item is now showing signs of rust and it will not be of use much longer. Paying a little more for durability is one way to maximize your expenditures.

Bought the rain chain and this basin about five years ago when we renovated the pool area. Love the look and have received numerous positive comments. There is one negative. There is an iron ring the top of the basin is molded over. Had to replace the original basin, which itself was still in good shape, because the ring had rusted and was staining the travertine pavers. Wish they would use something that won't rust.

Nice bowl shape, attractive patina and - once the hook is screwed-in - captures water from my rain-chain. Slightly larger than I anticipated (which is good) and looks the job in the garden.

I absolutely love my rain chain and basin, I purchased them to go where I get water sheeting off my roof, to help reduce the amount of pitting in my cement due to their not being a downspout in that area, and it is just so beautiful that I am just thrilled with my decision. The construction seems very sturdy and well done, and I can't wait to have this gracing my home for many years!
