The switch cover is streamline curved design with laser-etched patterns onto it. Built-in LED light emits soft light to light up the pattern when the switch is powered on. Its a nice light switch, turns on the lights on. I will say the feel of the switch is nice and solid and doesnt feel like it will give out after 20 or so clicks.

While the lights were pretty bright, and had many different colours and functions, they started shorting out after a very short time. Like less than two weeks of use and they started shorting out. Thankfully, it was early enough that the product started feeling we were able to still return it. The worst is when it starts malfunctioning after the return date has expired. So I was at least grateful for that. Definitely would not recommend.

This is a good switch, and it lights up nicely in eye pleasing blue. It snapped right into the Honda Element opening where there was formerly just a blank.The instructions were good, showing a couple of different wiring options, 1) if you want the switch lights to be constantly illuminated or 2) if you want it to be illuminated only when active. Easy enough to follow. I used a relay (which I would highly recommend) which caused a slight variation from the included wiring diagram.On a DIFFERENT switch I had purchased, there was no shielding between the two bulbs - which meant that you had illumination shining throughout the whole backlit area, and no ability to have independent lighting between the "always on" illumination and the "light when pressed" illumination. This was bad design and my reward for purchasing a cheap switch. THIS switch is shielded as it should be and looks and works great.Bottom line: Don't cheap out on a toggle switch, buy a good one like this.

The switch is what you see, it looks and works well. The only problem is there wasn’t a wiring diagram included. I found the information on-line and installation was easy after that.
