My 10 year old son and 3 year old daughter want to make these every Tuesday. The icing is salty, I wouldn’t use it that but it was so cute, fun, and the actual cake is delicious!!

It was a gift and I heard the child really loved this product. This product needs some adult supervision.

My five year old saw a commercial for a baking kit like this and put it on her Christmas list. We just did it today and she loved the whole process! It was easy for her to do mostly on her own and all the parts are so small and cute. We did have a problem with both cakes coming out with huge bubbles ruining the top of the cake though, which made them lopsided and hard to decorate. Also, it tastes so gross! I think she said she liked it just because she had fun with it. I ended up using a mug cake recipe to try again and get a fully formed, better tasting cake to decorate a little better. Then made a very basic buttercream with just a little butter, powdered sugar, and water. These came out so much better and tasted wayy better! After trying that one she revealed that she didn’t like the taste of the chocolate one from the kit. My three year old chocolate loving twins wouldn’t even eat it. If you want to try the mug cake recipe we used it’s 3 Tbsp self rising flour, 1 Tbsp sugar, half pinch of salt, 3 Tbsp milk, 1 Tbsp oil, and a splash of vanilla/almond/other flavoring. Microwave 30s. I also buttered the silicone mold so the cake easily came out.

It's like having an easybake oven without the commitment. Same quality food. I have no regrets buying this for my 6 year old. It took minimal adult effort and resulted in maximum joy. It doesn't get much better than that. It's a little pricey, but I've spent more on worse toys.

My kid loves tiny cooking. This allows her to use the microwave independently instead of me having to assist her with the oven. She enjoys this

Not editable, so salty even my daughters refused to eat it, and won’t touch the second one they have.

I decided against it because of all the unhealthy ingredients in it
