I’m still working on these shadowboxes for two of my dogs who’ve passed, but I wanted to review these because it took me *forever* to pick them, and they are fantastic. They look great and not at all cheap or flimsy, the front is REAL glass (not plastic), the foam backing and backboard are sturdy, the magnet closure on the front is discreet, but strong, and the depth is perfect to fit all of the items I want to include.I removed the back and covered it with patterned fabric (clementines for my Clementine, and peaches for my Peaches), but the gray felt looked nice on its own, too. Removing the back did require pliers to get out several heavy duty staples, but putting it back in didn’t require any extra work—the fit is very snug with the added fabric, so it’s held in with that alone.If you intend to use the pins that they provide to poke all the way through the backing and not just through the felt sideways, make sure you create the hole with something sharper and stronger first—the pins are cute, but they are not strong enough to poke through the backing on their own and will bend and break.Several of the negative reviews on this appear to have been user error issues, so take them with a grain of salt. I’m so glad I chose these—probably the best options out there!

I purchased this to put moments in. It’s very nicely made and like that I can open and close as needed. Great value as well!

Comes with pins which I used for my hairpiece the flowers I was able to use other pins I had handy to get them to stay. Worked wonders and came out nicely

Great display case for a military patch. Comes with pins that make securing easy and the pins are easy to hide so not seen if you pin from behind. The quality of the case itself is great.

This was a perfect shadow box for displaying dried flowers from a bridesmaid bouquet. The magnet that holds the door shut is strong, so I don't fear it will open on its own. It feels sturdy, has a good bit of depth to hold more 3 dimensional items, and looks nice on display.

I was very impressed with this shadow box! It is by far the sturdiest shadow box that I have ever bought! It looks very well made and it is easy to open and close. I think the thing that I like best is the fact that it is so deep. Most shadow boxes are about an inch or so deep, but this one is the deepest one I’ve ever seen. I’d love to create vacation shadowboxes every year. This year I found this adorable turtle that I was sure would not fit in the box. Mostly because it would not fit in any of the boxes that I currently have. I searched long and hard and was so impressed whenever I was able to get the turtle in the box and the door to shut! I do agree with some of the others that the inside is smaller than appears to be in the pictures. I would definitely size up. With that being said I was able to get everything in the box fairly easily, mostly because it was a beach trip and I didn’t have as much stuff as I would normally have. But I am definitely happy with my purchase! I will be ordering another one for our next vacation

The assembly is very poor. The hinges are clearly crooked and this had affected how straight the screw has gone in. I cannot even try to fix it myself without leaves by obvious holes and the inside of the screw head has been striped anyways. Some corners look good, others are gaping apart. Really disappointing since I paid so much for shipping to Australia. This was to be shadow box memorial for a stillborn infant, I’m really upset that this is what I received. It’s a shame as the design and materials are clearly good quality, yet the care put into assembly has ruined the overall product.
