The original tailpiece on my 74 dobro broke. This replaced it, it works well.

Used it to mod a Gretsch Jim Dandy. Had to lightly grind the tip to clear the strap pin on the bottom of the guitar.

Had a resonator guitar where the original tailpiece actually broke due to metal fatigue. So needed a replacement. This resophonic tailpiece worked great. Came sealed in a plastic bag with a separate smaller plastic bag inside that had a new strap button, screw and felt washer. I used the new strap button but not the screw since the new screw was longer and I wasn't sure it would fit so used the original screw. Nice though that they included those. The new tailpiece works great and restored my resonator back to original condition. Good product!

Most every other supplier I use has inferior quality compared to the one I purchased from Amazon. The metal used in this one was twice as sturdy as others I have used recently. This is an excellently made tailpiece for a resophonic guitar.

This tailpiece has a cheap, lightweight look and feel. The plating has poor gloss and does not look like nickel. It would not be a good value if it were half the price. I'm returning it.
