This is VERY different from any other acrylic medium I've ever used. First, it's gray in the jar, and it dries gray. Second, it's extremely gritty -- so gritty that you'll wonder whether it will stick to the canvas. (Spoiler alert: It does.)I wouldn't use this in every painting, but occasionally it will be exactly what I need. Earlier today I added some of this coarse pumice gel to the bottom of a minimalist painting, and was the perfect final touch.Have you watched the videos on the Golden website? Every medium is explained briefly and demonstrated. The videos are great.
