Goldblatt original dry tape Banjo is the drywall tapers best friend, holding up to a 500 ft. roll of drywall tape and enough compound to tape 40 ft. between fills. No more applying joint compound with a knife and then applying the joint tape, the Banjo does both at once. The dry tape style allows the tape to be dry and visible in the back, and adjustable valve in the front controls how much compound is applied.

This has helped me and my husband with a lot of projects in our home. It got the job done and I think it was worth the buy.

Buen producto, tenía la duda si fuera un poco débil pero no, tiene buen peso y llegó antes de lo establecido.

As a commercial taper this works great

It seems to be a sturdy unit, but a bit bulky to use, and if the tape breaks off at the cutter it is difficult to feed the tape through....

Looks like it's well constructed... solid, with nice tight lid and latches... but unfortunately it cannot accommodate a 250' roll of fibafuse. I can't comment on how well it works since I've never used it, but I notice a couple of potential problems with the design compared with my old faithful Kraft banjo. First, the tape gets dragged over a sharp edge to exit the box... wet paper could tear and fibafuse could fray. Second there's a gap between the mud compartment and the tape roll... it's going to leak in there. Last 2 photos are my old banjo showing sealed mud box and smooth exit. This might be good for small jobs, but I'm not going to be able to use it with the tape I like.

The Goldblatt mud and tape banjo is a good design and compact I learned on a different brand same design but I like to Goldblatt better because it's more compact and nicely made. Really speeds up the taping process if you can't afford a taping machine or no reason to buy something you're not going to use every day

We have to do a LOT of hanging drywall on ceilings. We did a 30x25 room and the 4x15 hallway, and this was a big, big help. It took about half an hour to get on to it, but once he did, my husband was awfully happy he bought this thing. Taping the ceiling went fast with the banjo. We also got a drywall lift from Amazon, which was nothing but a pure blessing. We couldn’t find anyone to hire to do the work, but with these 2 tools, it was not even half as bad as we had dreaded it would be.

This thing is messy. I used it to tape the ceiling and you will need two people one to hold the tape while one pulls. You have to stand to the side or you will know what it's like for a bird to poop on you. It goes about 45 feet before you have to refill with mud.

This thing is junk and I'm sure I received a used one. No matter the thickness of the mud it comes out more on the left side of the tape so when doing joints most of the mud falls to the floor. the tape also slowly moves to the left when pulling it. I had to keep reopening it to re position the tape behind the mud. This thing made more mess in 30 min then I made in one month doing my basement. Also why does it leak to the tape side? Is this normal. I was under the impression the tape side would stay dry. I just gave up on it and finished my back walls the old way. less mess and less frustration. DONT BUY!Going to try a diffrent brand
