Your cart is empty.This is a brand new surgical scalpel blade #3 Handle/Holder. Featuring a rounded handle to allow for better maneuverability and control. This blade handle is made of aluminium and stainless steel. The attachment features a cross vise that tightens and grips the blade firmly. This type of attachment method prevents the possibility of the blade flying off due to wear and tear or poor fit with standard #3 Handles. Simply slide the blade in, tighten and you have a secure and strongly attached blade, ready for use. The diameter of the blade chamber is 6.75mm, so the maximum blade width it can fit is 6.75mm. Fits #10, 11, 11P, E11, 12, 13, 15, 15A Blades Handle Length is 12cm. Does not come with blade

This was Not for scalpel blades as advertised, it works for xacto type blades. It has a nice weight and feel to it and I was So Disappointed it won't hold scalpel blades

cheaply made. surgical scalpels do not fit all way in the collet.

Finely made, nice feel in the hand, knurled for a good grip. Fits #11 X-Acto blades, but not #11 scalpel blades. Bought this for use with inexpensive #11 scalpel blades (as advertised), but those #11 scalpel blades are too long, and would be too wobbly in this handle. The blade clamp itself is cross-cut, so I used a fine-toothed hacksaw to make one cut deep enough to fit #11 scalpel blades. Now, either type of blade would work well, in the correct slot. The manufacturer should have done this, not me, so four stars. Change one word in the advertising (X-Acto NOT scalpel) for five stars.

I hope by the robust use of exclamation points I have properly conveyed the reality of just how NOT made for surgical blades this thing is. One of the purchasers is showing a picture of the handle with a #11 surgical blade at the end of it. It will hold a #11 surgical blade however it isn't safely holding a #11 surgical blade, even in the picture you can see the hole where a real tool that is made to hold scalpel blades goes. That tool would be called a scalpel blade handle.The best guess I have for this thing is that they are trying to sell off the overstock of fancy exacto blade handles.This thing is unsafe if you put a real scalpel blade in it and apply a box cutting force.DO NOT BUY THIS FOR SURGICAL BLADES!!

I needed a scalpel blade that can prevent my hands from being injury while I cut. I use #11 surgical blades with the handles they come with. My hands would get injury while using that handle. This handle solve that problem, looks great, and feel great.
