Built-in USB Charging Port
No need to fear finding your smartphone or tablet with a drained battery after streaming music. Keep your device charged by using its charging cord and plugging into the USB 2.0 port of the STW speaker. Any device that has a USB power cord and charges with 1A output can use the charging port, even if it is not the device actively playing audio on the STW tower speaker.
Includes Wireless Remote
Use the included remote to control music and radio playback from the comfort of your bed or sofa. The remote is also used to access extra features like Bass and Treble level customization, and a memory function to scan and store available radio stations. When you’re done using the remote, place it in its dedicated slot at the top of the STW for easy access and safekeeping.

Built-in Device Dock Slot
At the top of the STW, there is a docking slot next to the remote so that you can position devices in either portrait or landscape mode. This handy spot can conveniently "dock" your smartphone, tablet, or MP3 player as they charge with the USB power port or play music using an AUX cord.

4 Audio Input Options
Wireless Bluetooth Mode
Any device with Bluetooth can pair with the STW so you can stream your personal music library or queue up playlists and stations in your favorite music subscription app. If your car has Bluetooth or you own wireless headphones, this works the same way; simply pair devices once and control music from your smartphone or tablet. To keep your battery full, connect your device to the USB power port while you’re the acting DJ.
Wired 3.5mm AUX Mode
Play audio from devices that do not have Bluetooth (e.g. classic MP3 players, compact pico projectors, CD players, etc). If connecting a tablet, smartphone, or MP3 player, you can dock the device in the cradle at the top of the STW so that it is within easy reach of the 3.5mm audio port. Media playback controls like Play/Pause/Previous/Next do not work with 3.5mm input, but you can still adjust volume, bass/treble, and mute using the remote control.
USB MP3 Player Mode
Load .mp3 files on a memory thumb drive (32GB or smaller) and connect it to the Flash Drive USB 2.0 port to instantly convert the STW into an MP3 player loudspeaker. This is great when you have a library of curated tracks that set a certain atmosphere or mood. You can control playback (Play/Pause/Skip) directly on the tower or with the remote control. For ambient music use, the STW’s MP3 player mode is the easiest way to just press Play and enjoy.
FM Radio Mode
There are times the most convenient listening option is the one you can quickly turn ON and is ready to play. FM radio is freely available and does not require Wi-Fi or a cellular connection. The BlueSYNC STW has a built-in FM tuner with a memory scan function to make tuning easier by storing locally available stations. If you’re part of the NPR loyal or appreciate the hands-off ease of listening to music on the radio, the STW was designed to deliver.

Bought this primarily as a more centrally located alternative to my television's soundbar. The speaker looks great and it easily connected via Bluetooth to my Samsung television. The sound was phenomenal and it worked seamlessly with my television's remote.

Does it deliver premium stereo sound an audiophile would appreciate? ....No. But it does deliver a very acceptable stereo experience, better than most TV soundbars. In fact, that is essentially what it is, but vertical. The Bluetooth reception is exceptional, especially when connecting an MP3 player to it, and the handy slot on top is perfect for holding your MP3 player. There's a handy remote slot too. The remote seems a bit flimsy, but it is adequate and works well to control whatever it is you're playing through it. Alexa connects just fine, though you may have to adjust the volume through both Alexa and the unit to get optimum sound quality. Technology spreads the sound throughout the room, but you may want to experiment with placement to get best results. Very satisfied with the unit. If I were to 'ding' it the only 'con' I would mention is that the AUX port doesn't seem to deliver quality sound, but that could also be a result of the MP3 player I tried it out on. Definitely, though, it is trumped by Bluetooth connections.

This is a quality speaker and am very happy with it. I ordered the first one and sent it back as my tv is not bluetooth equipped. I then found a bluetooth transmitter that turned out to work quite well so I re-ordered the speaker. Amazon should list a bluetooth transmitter with the "frequently purchased together" section for other less tech savvy people like myself. Pairing the speaker to the transmitter is quite simple.

I desperately needed a large speaker to adapt to my "old fashioned" ipod touch for a party we were throwing and I wanted to play the songs on my playlist. This fit the bill and worked well. The sound was strong and helped with the fun of the event.

Ordered this speaker for my work office. I received my first speaker it was damaged and speakers didn't function properly. Sent it back and got a replacement speaker. The difference was night and day. Good sound quality is good, and surprised by the bass quality. Now I'm able to not only play my bluetooth music, I can also play my old Ipod as well. I got a speaker and good value for my money.

I think this BT speaker would be hard to beat for the price. It's way louder than any traditional portable speaker, making it great for a large space. All the different input options, including FM radio is a nice feature. The audio quality is really good enough for the majority of people and music. We use it all-day everyday at our shop, for last few months, and haven't had any issues. Only complaint would be the bluetooth range, but most speakers don't have great BT range.
