Been really happy with the Godox/Flashpoint V1pro flashes and having a spare battery that charges via USB-C is awesome. While the VB1 charger isn't big like the old 850's, it still is an extra part you needed to worry about during packing. Now with these batteries you don't have to worry about it if you have a USB-C charger. Since most everything else now charges via USB-C like cameras and COB lights, this battery just makes it part of the ecosystem.

Just having an extra battery on hand makes this a winner from the start. I keep a pack in my car for those "on-the-spot" sessions and in that setup i carry 2 ad100pros. The extra baterries are a must just in case. I used this battery the other day and it ran perfectly. 3/4 power on the flash and the battery lasted a little more than half the day and still had life in it when i was done. The real winner on the battery though is usb-c charging. Im so glad companies are now including this on their batteries. This is a true quality of life upgrade. Using ad100pros, IF I run down a battery with usb-c charging it charges long before i need another battery again. This is a very rare scenarion though considering the life you get out of these batteries on the ad100pros.
