This is a subsequent purchase. I have owned a couple of these for years. I originally purchased them to power my Nikon/Flashpoint/Godox AA operated R2 flashes using my Blast Pack/ProPac 960 battery pack. You still have to have four (4) AA batteries installed in the flash but connecting this cable to the outlet on the front of the flash and to the terminal on the Blast Pack you can shoot all day and not even give the thought of running out of juice a thought. The build quality is good and they will take a beating under the rigors of a professional event photographer. Need wireless setups and not wanting to carry a bunch of equipment and having wires as trip hazards. These are the tickets. I highly recommend them and I also recommend carrying a couple of spare in you bag because you never know.

The plastic molding where the cable enters the connector to the battery is hard plastic placing the stress on the cable vice supporting it with the mold (this molded portion should be more flexible). As a result, my cable broke resulting in arcing. As the battery can be worn around the neck, this created a fire hazard at my chest. The product is good value for money (and I bought a replacement) but you need to inspect this cable frequently and be prepared to replace it if it starts to break. For the manufacturer, this is a design deficiency that should be easily fixed.

It's a good thing these are cheap. I have experienced the following with many different cables: 1. Erratic fit both on the power pack end and flash end. Some are over loose and other's are incredibly tight. 2. Have had the cables fail a number of times at the flash fitting end. The rubber tends to rack and the wires pull loose over time. 3. The fit at the battery pack is also a bit erratic. Some fit very well while other's are difficult to fit onto the pack.But they are cheap and so easy to replace.

I purchased this cable based on the feedback I was given by the manufacturer of my Sunpak DF4000U speedlight. Not only does it fit like a glove but the connections are as solid as you could expect from any OEM cable. The flash fires every single time and there is absolutely no delay in the recycle time or in the transfer of current from the battery pack to the flash unit.

I purchased this "Godox PB-CX PB960 PB820 Lithium Battery Pack Power Cable for Canon 600EX Flash Speedlite" without knowing for sure whether it would fit or work with my " FP Flashpoint Blast Pack BP-960 " from Adorama . I only had the pictures to make a decision off of . Thankfully the power cable works and is identical to the power cable that flashpoint usually sells with it's battery pack . So for anyone who is in need of a cheaper and identical option to the cable that comes with the flashpoint power pack for canon this is definitely it .
