We have a large front room with a peaked ceiling and we heat with wood. We loose a lot of heat out the front opening and house cools very fast. Bought these to help block the heat from escaping and keep it in the living area more. Took about an hour to install and so far has worked perfectly. I bought the insulated ones and there doing a great job. Hoping they help in the summer to keep the living room cooler also.

These were packaged really well, had comprehensive instructions that are well illustrated, attention to every detail, quality product. I scanned the provided QR code for the video too. How anyone ever trimmed these at the wrong end is inconceivable - they clearly tell you where NOT to trim. I got the black outs and they’re lightweight but block light. The only reason I didn’t 5 stars is because I’d like to see the hanging panel closest to the sliding door opening - farthest away on the track. Not closest to the window. I’m finding it hits the inside of the door frame when closing, and I have to move it away to continue to slide. This item wouldn’t likely withstand dogs or children with no regard to handling the opening & closing properly - always. For longevity, it will require deliberate attention. For the classy way it looks - I find it worth it in our home. Beats plastic vertical 1980’s/1990’s blind all day long as far as looks.

We have owned 3 homes now with sliding patio doors and we have bought this for all 3.Why buy ugly white vertical slats when you can buy this!? I’ve never had an issue installing it and I’d say the longevity can’t be beat. My toddlers mess with our current one, and have been for a couple months, and nothing is wrong with it yet.I will say that there can be some fraying of the slats if you aren’t babying it, but I still think it looks better and is a much better choice than what people usually put on their patio doors.

I was concerned the black out was false advertising, but these are truly 100% black out. The color is great. The fabric is impressive and stylish. The quality is great. I didn't notice the touch of silver until they arrived - nice subtle touch. So easy to install. I read the reviews and followed everyone's advise to install and hang the panels before cutting to length. They turned out 1/2" off the floor and perfectly even. The bottom finishing rods were so easy to put on, I don't really understand how some people struggled with them. They turned out great and look so stunning. Operationally, they're beautiful. They slide back and forth with the large metal wand. I'm very happy. Which is good because they are expensive.

No valence. I don't get it. Seems like the thing to do. Overall still love the product and quality.

Great panel vertical blinds. They were not too hard to install. I wish they included more of the anti-fray plastics. Another possible improvement to the product is that the opening stop of the blind isn’t adjustable. My patio opening isn’t the maximum size. I want each panel to open with equal spacing instead of all opening equally spaced.

Blinds look great and bring a whole new atmosphere to the room. Much better looking than the cheap white plastic ones. Block out tons of light. We were worried how much light they would block but were instantly pleasantly surprised! I would recommend 2 people to install to make easier.

I can't speak to durability at this point since I just received my blinds and installed them today. But what I will say is I'm quite pleased with them, especially considering the cost compared to others I've looked at. I chose to mount the track to my 8' ceiling and the panels were long enough that I still ended up trimming 3 3/4" from the bottom of each panel. I was quite pleased to see the generous length even though it wasn't necessary in my situation. The blackout function of the panels is excellent and I even noticed some sound reduction (I live near railroad tracks) although it was minor. That said there was enough of a difference to be noticeable if the panels were open or closed over my patio door - but don't expect a miracle lol.The installation itself went quite smoothly and unlike some products I've purchased the instructions were accurate and clear enough to easily follow. Although I do have good handyman skills and use them for side jobs I believe almost anyone would be able to hang these panels. The only drawback I see to these panel blinds would be in homes with children/teens who aren't prone to exercise ordinary care in opening and closing them. The hangers the panels attached to are aluminum and the ceiling tracks are made of aluminum and plastic. Long-term durability in those homes may be somewhat questionable so those people may wish to spend more and buy a stronger product. For everyone else I would say they are robust enough to hold up to long-term everyday use.Overall, I have no problem recommending these panel blinds to anyone looking for an attractive set at a good price.

Installed as room divider between living room and hallway for privacy, when guests sleep over in the living room. Most painfull issue is that these have 1.5% aluminum stripes in them, which effectively filter WiFi. Opened, i get 271 Mbps on 5Ghz AC wifi throughput. Closed, i do get 11 Mbps. Bummer. Unfortunately, godear does not have any fabric that is blackout (fully light filtering) without this aluminum. The fabric is also only "nice" on one side, but some form of ugly white on the other. For a room divider, this is not ideal. Godear does not have any blackout fabric that is nice from both sides.Once installed, it does look very very nice (from the right side) and can be opened/closed "ok". It is flimsy because of the way the sliders always hit into parts of the extensible rail. I would not recommend it for regular daily use. For me, this is ok. A fixed width track would be great, but of course make shipment much more expensive at the full length. The passage i installed it in has the wall on the left hand side in front and on the right side in the rear, so i could not install the track as-is, because i couldn't get to the hande of the mounting bracket on either side. So i had to dismantle the track and reverse one side. That of course also meant that not all holes in the ceiling could line up, so it was a bit of advanced installation, but it did work. With all this criticism, i wouldn't know anything better for my purpose.
