Bought it for some sterling purchases from e-bay and this stuff cleans 'em up as good as new. Looks to be a great value as I've hardly made a dent in the jar.

I simply moisten the sponge, rub it against the mixture, apply it to the item, and rub. The tarnish comes off. I let it sit a bit and then rub a bit more before rinsing the item with water and voila, the tarnish is gone. When done, I rinse the sponge under running water, squeeze it out and put it back into the container.

Just finished polishing my silver with Goddard silver polish. And decided I have to say how excellent thisproduct is. Would give it 6 stars if I could. It is very,very efficient, easy to use and you end up with a thoroughly shining item. No need to wear gloves, just do as they write on the label. It is a bit expensive yes but the container was quite big. I bought it I think 4 or 5 years ago and use it twice a year on all my collection of silver. A little on the sponge goes a long way so not even one third of the tin is used. Oh and I want to add that because you don't have to rub hard the hall marks are safe. Chantal from Québec, Canada

I read the directions -no foam appeared. I tried on tarnished silver and rubbed and rubbed. Then I switched to Wrights silver cream

This product was pleasantly easy to use and didn't require much elbow grease, only a bit of patience.It worked best on smooth surfaces, though, and any details were hard to reach with the soft sponge that comes with it. When all was said and done, the smooth surfaces was shiny, but the more textured pieces were less so. (All of my items have been shiny in the past, so the problem is not with the items themselves.)The sponge also started tearing during my first use. I still have plenty of cleaner left, so now I'm going to have to figure out a replacement for the sponge.I liked the foaming action of the cleaner and how easily it rinsed off.

I ordered a set of 3 items from this lineShined up my silver chains and charms beautifully. I scoop some into a small plastic cup and drop my silver jewelry in; mix it all around until completely over covered. Remove from cup and let sit out for a while and use a toothbrush to dab all over to get into all spaces. Next I rinse well and wipe with a soft cloth (still waiting for the Polishing Cloth) Final step is to rinse and clean off any residue in my automatic cleaning machine

This product worked better than expected!! Very little elbow grease was needed to remove 40 years of tarnish. Check out the amazing shine in the before and after photos. In addition to the included sponge applicator, I used a horse hair brush where the sponge couldn’t reach. Super easy to apply and little to no smell. Great value for the money. Highly recommend!
