I bought this as a gift for my son. He has been obsessed with everything in Japan since he was a young child. He actually speaks Japanese fluently. This is such a cute little set, the packaging as well. Looks just like the photo. Honestly I didnโt realize they were a heavy duty plastic I thought they were glass, But they are not cheap or flimsy.

These are very cool. I really like the paint job and the maneki neko cats. There is a few small imperfections (see photos) but nothing major.

One of the same cups seems to have paint damage. Additionally, the carafe has either something stuck to the bottom or a long chip of paint missing. I canโt remove it with cleaning.

Aftee we traveled to Japan and drank more than our share of sake, it seemed appropriate to buy a set for our home use. This set is adorable.

I ordered this as a gift. They thought it was cute. I was a little disappointed in the packaging because the plastic see thru lid was a little cheap looking.
