Cruise control out (and not a blown fuse), this is the answer. One YouTube video and 10 minutes later, cruise control is fixed. It's 1 10 mm bolt, unplug old and plug in new. Buy this brand and save yourself any hassle. It works perfectly. 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT

I bought a brake light switch for my 2011 GMC Sierra, and it’s working great. I didn’t have issues with the cruise control, but the Stabilitrak and traction control lights kept coming on while driving. At first, I was worried it could be a bigger issue, but after some research, I found out that a faulty brake light switch could be the cause. After watching one YouTube video and spending about 10 minutes on the fix, the problem was solved. Installation was super easy—just one 10 mm bolt, unplug the old switch, and plug in the new one. It’s a straightforward DIY job that saved me both time and money on a mechanic visit. The new switch fit perfectly and instantly cleared the warning lights. It’s been working flawlessly since then, and I haven’t seen the Stabilitrak or traction control lights come back on. If you’re dealing with similar warning lights on a GMC Sierra or a similar model, I highly recommend this brand. It works perfectly and saved me a lot of hassle. It’s a simple fix that can prevent a lot of unnecessary stress and expensive diagnostics.

Don't buy the cheap ones like I did, part store or online. Oem was the only one to get rid of my stabilitrac lights, make my brake lights functional correctly and give me back my cruise control. I've done it so much over the past days, I was able to change this one out in under 30 seconds

super facil de instalar solo quite un tornillo y lo coloque, eso si es algo incomodo pero vale la pena. El sensor vino en su bolsa de pieza original sellada.

I had no idea my brake switch was the cause of my cruise control not working , especially since the brake lights functioned normally .. For the price , I figured it was worth trying before taking it to the dealer ..It totally fixed my cruise control issue . It was super easy to install on my own .

I bought this because I had seen that it was a possible solution to cruise control not working on my 2010 GMC Yukon Denali. I am a female senior and didn't have any trouble changing this part out by my self. The screw that was holding the part in was a little difficult to put back but once I had taken off some of the lock tite , it went in easily. Be careful that you don't drop the screw like I did and it rolled under the underpad which I had to pull part way up to locate, haha. So solved my cruise control not working and was an inexpensive fix rather than taking to the dealer to diagnose. This part arrived on time and was adequately packaged for what it was.

I recently purchased a 2008 GMC Yukon SLT. Driving home from the dealer, I noticed much to my dismay, that the cruise control was not working. The indicator light on the steering wheel came on when I turned on the cruise, but the "set" button was not working. Did a bit of research on the 'net that pointed me to this part. Watched some videos on the installation and decided to take the plunge into DIY world (over my wife's objections!). The part arrived in an AC/Delco sealed plastic bag shipped in a padded envelope. I'm a Prime member and the part came in two days--I was impressed. There is some discussion about this part being improperly designed and a GMC Technical Service Bulletin with a new part number. To the best of my knowledge, this part is the updated part. My part was all black plastic, not the white shown in the picture--but the part number was as ordered. The installation was simple (except when I dropped the bolt behind and underneath the floor carpet--but that was my fault. Installation time should be less than 15 minutes. Took the vehicle on a test drive right after installation. On first press the cruise did not work, but on second press, it did start working. Now has been working correctly for 2 days. I'm satisfied that this is the solution to my cruise control not working--interesting the part name has no relation to the cruise control, but it is fixed! Prompt shipping was a nice surprise.
