Our 14 year old granddaughter loved getting this for Christmas. She plays high school girls flag foot and this one was similar in size. She’s played with it quite a bit by now. It is plenty bright.

First, the purchase is not a full-size football. If you are looking for a youth-size football that glows, this is it. The glow is uniform throughout the ball and bright even in the daylight. The ball glow shuts off after 30 to 45 seconds of inactivity. The ball requires batteries, but the battery compartment is well obscured, and you can't feel it when throwing the ball. Good grip. The ball arrives deflated in a plastic bag with batteries installed, additional batteries, and the tool to pry the plug where the LED and batteries are inserted. The ball does not come with a pump or a stem to add air. I don't know how it will hold up in rain or water. Although the plug has a good seal, I imagine too much moisture will ruin the battery insert and LED, which makes the ball glow. The battery life and shut off features could use some improvement. depending on the surface and temperature in the room the shut off feature isn't consistent. Battery life is not great. The batteries that the ball came with lasted a few days. I purchased some energizer replacements and they seem to last longer.

Just what I was looking for! Great gift for any 8-12+ year old. Comes w directions and extra batteries. Looks so cool all lit up. Great toy for nighttime outdoor play.

We bought the GlowCity Glow in the Dark Football for family game nights, and it’s been a huge hit! The ball lights up beautifully, making it easy to play even in complete darkness. This product is very fun and very easy to use. It comes with a battery inside and when you purchase this item it has a spare battery just in case your battery dies. You need the battery to make sure the ball glows. I've been using it for 5 months now and the battery is still good it's still bright and it's still very easy to use. Compared to the NFL official football I would say it is similar just one size smaller. The price for this is really good the only place you could find a better price is temu but other than that this one is the best. It has really good grip not as good as the NFL official but it is really good. And it's their ability is off the charts. I would even say it's better than the NFL official. I've hit in it on to the grass onto concrete onto glass onto all sorts of surfaces and it still Remains the same. I wouldn't recommend this as a dog toy or anything like that but it's their abilities really good. I would recommend this to people who love playing football. I throw the football at 4:00 p.m. and afternoon and don't stop until 10:00 p.m. me and my buddies love playing football and we love running routes doing plays and just having a great time especially in the summer. Would recommend this 100%.

The ball is not official size; it is a medium size at best and therefore more difficult to throw long distances. Seller should change the description so as not to mislead customers about the actual size of the merchandise. Quantify the actual dimensions so customers can gain an appreciation of it and compare to a real football, if necessary.This is a toy...or maybe acceptable to someone with very small hands. :/

Came after Christmas despite ordering in November. Not worth the amount I paid...being winter we can't really test it outside so hopefully it will work in the spring

Have bought ahead of a minis rugby tour where we plan to throw the ball around a bit with the teams in the evening. Did a test run with sons in the back garden after dark and the ball lights up clearly, is easy to throw and catch and perfect if you happen to need a glow in the dark rugby ball.
