This is the second time I order a ball like this. It was from a different seller this time. It came in a plastic amazon bag versus a box; very well packaged. I cannot believe that it already came with the batteries installed and came with additional backup batteries. It was very easy to inflate. My son loves to play at night with this ball!!!!!

This Christmas I was unable to travel back home so I ordered gifts and sent them to my parents house. Otherwise I would've attached a photo of this glow in the dark basketball. I ordered this for my 12 year old nephew who is big into basketball and wants to play at all hours of the day. Since he received this for Christmas, my family says he takes it everywhere and has played even more basketball. He loves and all of his friends want one too.The basketball lights up when you bounce it. Just a reminder - it does not come inflated so make sure to either buy a pump or have one on hand when it arrives. I highly recommend this product. I think it's a unique item/gift and is good quality.

This is a great idea! Our net is a little obscured by the reflection of the garage light, but this ball is so bright that it makes it much easier to see. It has lasted through lots of rounds of pig. The grip and size are great too!

We were worried that it wouldn't bounce as well as a regular basket ball, but it definitely does. The glow is much brighter than expected. It seems to be durable and the batteries have lasted quite awhile. I feel like it's a great price for the quality and brightness of the ball. My kids LOVE it

The concept of this glow in dark basketball is awesome, and it’s a hit with the whole family. The lights are super bright and definitely last a long time. However, it comes deflated, which was disappointing. I had to go out of my way to find a pump, and it took away some of the excitement of trying it out right away. It would be much better if it arrived already inflated or at least included a small easy to use pump. Great product overall, but be prepared for a bit of extra effort before you can start playing

This ball is super cool, BRIGHTLY lit, and makes it possible to play basketball well after the sun goes down. While the material is not the same as a regular basketball, it absolutely bounces and works just like a regular ball. Yes, the content is stamped on, but does anyone really care about the stamped content on a ball? We're here to play and shoot, not sit and look at pretty basketball stamped lines!The price point is pretty awesome, considering if allows one to play ball well into the late evening. To get the most out of this purchase, I encourage my son to use his regular basketballs during the day but using this ball in the evening only. This way he can get the most out it and get it to last longer.My son eats, breathes and sleeps basketball. This present was purchased for Christmas 2020. We hadn't had the need to change out the batteries as this is mainly the ball he uses at night. I recently went to switch out the batteries with the company provided batteries but the lights didn't work. I tried my own set of batteries and those also didn't work. I used a battery tester and can confirm all sets of batteries (both from the company and my supply) were in good condition.While I hoped for the best but prepared for the worst, I reached out to GlowCity to see if they would consider sending replacement lights. WOW just wow. They were very quick to respond and sent out lights immediately. I just received the package and noticed they sent TWO sets of lights.In today's world, it is increasingly rare to find a company that actually cares about the customer and demonstrates this level of customer service. It's to the point that we've also all come to just accept that it is what it is. GlowCity provided a level of support that reminds you they still give a cr@p.Really cool ball, really great company!! I'd 10000% purchase from this company again and would recommend this as a super cool ball for any basketball lover.

Pros:-Cool! We live on a busy street and people CONSTANTLY pull over and talk to us just to ask us where we got this ball.-I have not had any issues with premature deflation so far. When you hold this thing, it almost feels like it should be hemorrhaging air, but it does not.-BRIGHT! This isn't some faint light being put off, the whole ball glows orange/red and is 100% visible at dusk.- Good grip!- Water resistant!- Battery life seems solid. Should easily get a whole year out of the batteries. The ball turns off after about 30-60 seconds of not being used. The light only turns on when you simulate or actually bounce it. You can toss it up in the air and catch it gently and the light will not activate. This is good if you transport the ball in a car or bag, as normal movements and light bumps will not drain the battery, but a real bouce always turns the lights on.CONS:- Not a "serious" ball. This is for playing in the driveway, or with kids. Not for a serious game of street ball.- The plugs that hold the lights in can cause uneven bounces, but only if you bounce the ball right on the plug, and the plug is misaligned. If you check the plugs and make sure they are in flush, you can minimize this, but I dont see any perfect solution. With this ball you will have some slight mis-bounces, but nothing that will ruin a game.- The ball feels like one day its just going to break, or stop holding air. It just has that "I will break one day in the not too distant future," feel to it. I can't really attest to this yet, but I will update my review if this happens. For the price, and for what it does, it is worth the cost even if it only lasts a year or two.Overall worth the buck. Especially if you play ball at night or have kids.
