When fully charged this amazing purple powder will glow at 905 mcd/m2 after 1 minute, level off to 125 mcd/m2 after 1 hour and will continue to glow for up to 7 hours. Purple takes a little longer to charge in order to glow, but a black light or direct sunlight will charge it much faster if needed. Mix 1 ounce of powder to 4 fluid ounces of clear or transparent medium.

>Compatible Mediums
Glow powder can be used with resin, epoxy, paint, glass, nail polish, clay, rubber, cement, ceramic, silicone, glaze or glue. It is not soluble, heavier then water & odorless. It needs a medium firm enough to hold the pigment in place. Glow powder is the basic ingredient for most glow in the dark products used by consumers, businesses, education and government agencies, artists, scientists etc.

>Glow Information
Glow in the dark powder can be charged, and discharged indefinitely, making them very economical to use. It will charge by any UV light from the higher spectrum such as sunlight or a white light bulb and also glows under a black light. Made from Strontium Aluminate doped with rare earth elements Dysprosium and Europium. Europium is the most reactive earth element ever discovered. It can give an astonishing glow time for as long as up to 30 hours, which puts it at the cutting edge of technology.

Love it! It's so cool. The glow lasts a little longer than when you turn off the uv light. I though that was really cool. When a light is used on it it glows and continues to glow for a min after. Very fun.

It certainly glows nice and purple, especially while and after being under a UV light. Only complaint is the glow is pretty short lived all in all. Still neat though.

So my photos are of the plugs I made for a friend. When out of sunlight, the powder gives clear resin a milky color and it looks clean. The photo of them growing is after being out in non-direct sun and they still glow well. Also the powder in mine is covered with just clear resin, which is where the Gengar is. I put some test plugs that were only made with glow powder in the resin, and the glow was INSANE. I had no expectations of it being as bright as it was, wish I had taken a photo. But they were in direct sunlight in my window for a couple minutes and when I picked them up you could immediately already see them glowing, and that's before I even cupped my hands to see how they looked in the dark. So far my application, it was perfect. However I didn't measure, I just poured it in 'til it looked good enough.

I like this product a lot, it glows very brightly if you use multiple layers. The downside of it is you can't really use it on white tips because it doesn't look very good on the natural nail part. Because it's kind of like a whitish tint to it. So with naturla nail tip it looks fine because it blends with the real nail and becomes one solid color. White tips it doesn't compliment the nails of course everybody has their own opinion so that's just mine. Other than that great product.

Okay, there's a lot to say about this pigment, but the biggest thing folks have complained about is its brightness.Let's get this out of the way, it is a bright glow, when it is charged properly. This won't wash out green pigments and looks closer to a blue when contrasted with them, but on its own, after using a daylight bulb or the actual sun, it is bright enough to navigate a dark room with no problem.Mixing it with other pigments, marbling or folding them in, it is extraordinarily beautiful, creating washes and gorgeous transitions. If used in acrylics, resins, or even low temp plastics, the effect is also striking.Additionally, it does glow for a very long time, though the initial brightness fades (just like other pigments) until it is noticeable, though not vibrant. This process can take several hours, or like in my mix, upwards of 36... but I do love my dark rooms. Now, the downsides. It will not charge instantly with a UV pen or UV LED. In fact, depending upon the frequency/wavelength, some might not charge it noticeably at all. Sunlight, even on a cloudy day, will charge it within seconds, and retreating into a dim or dark room will leave it very bright and noticeable. Daylight LED, CFL, or even some fluorescent bulbs also work, though I would highly recommend checking before showing off to your friends. It blends well with marbling effects, though it is easily overwhelmed by greens (which our eyes pick up more readily at similar lumen ratings), unless the mix is highly skewed towards the violet/purple. And, just to make it clear, after a few minutes to hours (depending upon the charge applied and mix), it WILL fade to a green until it's recharged again.Overall, a very nice pigment, and one that I will likely purchase again.Have fun!

This was my first time working with glow in the dark powder in resin, but I am really pleased with the results. When mixed in the figure was an opaque white, after charging it with a UV Nail curing light for 60 seconds, even in a lit room the purple glow was present, in a dimly lit hallway it was even better. The glow faded out after about a few hours, but that was to be expected with one that glows this color and I am still very pleased with results. I probably could have added a little bit less powder, I didn't really have much to go off of so I eyeballed it like I would glitter. The seller included a small sample of their green and a UV Light keychain for charging the powder.

The brightness of this product is not even comparable to the picture above. Plus, upon close inspection, there is actually green powder mixed in with the purple so some of what little 'glow' I got was from the green rather than the purple. The company did toss in a free sample (packaged separately) of a green which is actually fantastic. The green glow is brilliant, quick to accept a charge, and glows for a significantly longer amount of time. Zero stars for purple, But 5 stars for the free sample of green.PS. There was not an option for me to leave a review within my order (strange) so I had to search for product and supplier to write an unverified review.
