These are elegant beautiful glasses - a pleasure to sip scotch from. Decent nosing glass and all. I dropped one yester eve into my sink and the dang thing bounced like a ball about 3 food bounces til I caught it and Wow, not a crack nor a chip!!! Impressive durability!

I'm not sure I buy into the claim that bourbon tastes better in this glass, but they are nice and feel good in your hand. Bit on the pricey side.

The perfect size and shape for Scotch Whisky. Many friends are Scotch (the drink) fans and not all are Scottish (The people). All enjoy their Scotch more in a proper glass designed for Whisky. They say it simply enhances the taste. Note that Whisky is the Scottish spelling of the drink whereas Whiskey is the Irish and American spelling. Actually there is a proper glass for each beverage. My wife is a Wine devotee and would tell you that there is a particular shape of glass for each wine variety, In addition if I reordered I would get the same glass but purchase the engraved variety as it is a bit nicer. The Glencairn is the definitive standard for Scotch Whisky glasses.
