Our vinyl double pane glass slider to the patio has hundreds of small scratches from the dogs over the last 15+ years. I purchased this (along with the other particle size) and the wool pads. Tried a small spot with both grades and a DA polisher with 5 inch pad as well as a circular drill with the small wool felt pad. After a 20+ minutes. no real improvement. My guess is that it would take 40 hours to polish the thing.. not worth it. Seller was prompt and packaged well - but product can't perform miracles.

I use this polish to shine up my drinking glasses when hand-washing has left them filmy. A dab goes a long way.

It can diminish fine scratches in glass, but don't expect instant results if you are polishing by hand. For example, several minutes a day, for 90 days. Otherwise if you want faster results you must use power tool. Also helpful 3.0 reading glasses, rubber cleaning gloves, such as from local dollar store.

I've been looking at thos for a couple months with uncertainty and finally decided to pull the trigger and buy it. I was hesitant as I don't know much about glass or cell phone camera lenses, but I wanted to find something to restore the lens glass on my camera phone. I just wasn't 100% sure because I wasn't planning on not using a rotary tool, and just wanted to hand buff out the fog and scratches. Decided to give it a try, and was very impressed! My camera lens came out as good as new! Took minimal effort, and did not use a rotary tool, I just buffed a tiny amount in small circles with my finger and felt cloth. I plan on buying more and trying it out on my glass stove top next!!

I had a ~quarter size cloudy (either scratched or etched) spot on my windshield that I had caused by trying to clean water spots using an abrasive, acidic cleanser (oops). I though my windshield was ruined.I had never attempted to polish glass before, but I figured I give this glass polish a try. This polish successfully removed the cloudy spot. I did not have a buffer, so I used a cotton handkerchief and scrubbed/buffed by hand. At first I was not successful, then, in desperation, I tried scrubbing with more pressure, pretty much as hard as I could comfortably press with my fingers. That worked after less than a minute of scrubbing. The glass looks like new. I can't even find the cloudy spot if I try. Awesome product! Exactly what I needed.

So, I've never polished glass before, so take my review with a grain of salt.I was trying to buff out a scratch from my glass cell phone screen. This product is abrasive, and left a significantly changed texture where I used it. I suspect it is "scratching" the glass. While it didn't make it cloudy, if I had kept going, I bet it would have ruined the screen. So yeah, bad experience, not good.

I recently got a new glass cooktop. Being used to gas, I was excited that glass cooktops are easy to clean, as I feel that's the only advantage over gas cooking. I was dismayed when I accidentally scratched the top with the bottom of an older pan, and I didn't know what to do. I did a little Googling and found this glass polish (originally used for automotive purposes). I did not attach the cleaning pad to a drill because I was afraid I wouldn't apply the right pressure and might crack the cooktop, so I just used elbow grease and followed the instructions on the bottle. I only used a teeeeeeny amount, scrubbed with the included cleaning pad in a circular motion for a few minutes, and MIRACLE!!! The scratch (which I felt was pretty deep and terribly unsightly) was GONE!!!! My cooktop looked brand new, and I'm pretty sure I have enough of this stuff leftover for 100+ more cleanings. I was so excited that it worked so quickly and easily, I sent before/after pics to my mom and my friends (well, maybe I'm also a dork). They were equally impressed and ordered some themselves to fix their own glass cooktop scratches. IT WORKS! I could not be happier with this purchase!
