I have been wanting to move away from artificial cooking sprays for coating my pans and started using olive oil instead. This works very well. The container is glass with embossed gold emblem and the sprayer is plastic (relatively cheap). It sprays well and consistently. Others have complained of a stream that comes out but I have not had the issue and assume thats because they don't clean the sprayer after use. Only issue is that I ordered the 8 oz and it came in a box labeled 6 oz. but this doesnt matter as I realize 6 oz is plenty big enough. Highly recommend.

With so many different types of oils on the market, this bottle could be used to spray just about any kind. However, when I look at it, the beautiful green bottle just screams olive oil however it could just as easily be avocado or any other type of oil. Personally, I olive oil for almost everything.I love that with this. I don’t have to buy a separate nonstick spray. Not too long ago I tried a new chicken recipe. I’m not an experienced cook. I’m learning how to cook after many years of not cooking. I know that might sound weird, but my husband did all the cooking for the last 20 years or so, and I did it for the first 15+ years of our marriage however I was never that great at it.Not too long ago, I made a baked chicken dish that had to put all of these chicken thighs into a big bowl and drizzle olive oil for them and massage it in and then you seasoned it. I had a really difficult time making sure everything came out evenly distributed, but with this bottle when I tried it again, it was so much easier. All I had to do was spray the chicken thighs all over, including under the skin and then apply my dry rub. The first time I tried the recipe I just drizzled oil and it worked but with this bottle it worked better. It was the same thing with the seasoning. Yeah I sprinkled it all over and tried to rub it in and it was OK but when I purchased a shaker bottle to Put my dry rub ingredients in, I had much better control and that’s why I love this bottle. It’s so attractive. I feel like I should leave it out all the time just so people can be impressed. I’m not normally the sort of person that cares what people think but I love this bottle.I had a friend over for dinner this evening and she was so impressed. Having my olive oil bottles on my stove just made it look so much more like I knew what I was doing. In the reality I cooked for somewhere between 15 and 20 years starting in 1990. I hated it, and my husband took over. All of my friends and family are used to me being the woman that does not like to cook however, since my husband passed away, I’ve had to start learning all over again and sound surprisingly that after all these years, I love it. I would recommend this bottle to just about anyone. It works really well and looks just beautiful.
