The suction cups never held onto anything. The surface skimmer never worked and I had multiple fish die due to the pressure from the inlet. It cracked while being taken off. The fit to the brand new tubing was also horrible. Don’t waste your time

This is a pretty good quality lily pipe set, I have never had an issue with Jardli products. I got these for a new tank and really wanted the skimmer on the outflow option. The only issue with it is, the plastic skimmer tube that uses a rubber band to set the height does not stay put. It constantly spins into the wrong direction which negates the correct suction effect and starts to "slurp" air noisily. I'm constantly having to reset that part the correct way.I don't really see a solution for that part not to move because the rubber band rests on top of the actual glass pipe. It's free to spin rather than being fixed.

Very effective way to eliminate biofilm without the risk of taking small inverts or fish into the filter. Clever and effective design. Utilized mug of warm water to soften the ends of my plastic tubing and it made it really easy to just slide it onto the pipe. Almost silent operation. The hum of the filter itself is louder than the intake, which is really all I could ask for. Nice little product.

I want to start by saying this is a high quality product. There are zero flaws that I could find. These look amazing and they are 10x better than the black plastic that I had in previously. However after installing the pipes I decided not to use them. My problem is that the connection on the output is made outside of the tank. If for some reason this comes disconnected, my pump would push 55 gallons of water onto my floor. The inlet isn't that big of a deal because if that becomes disconnected then the pump would just run dry which would cause less damage. It's not a design flaw but something to consider. I'm going to think of other options and I might re-visit this later because I REALLY like the look of these.

I can’t write about how good it is, since it came broken to me. The boxing overall looked ok, no indication of issues, but the pipe inside was brokenWas really looking forward to use this in my tank
