Important Notes:
· It is normal for the scissors to have a slight gap when closed. This is an intentional design to reduce friction.
· It is also normal for there to be gaps between the teeth of the thinning shears.
· If the gap is too large, try adjusting the tension screw to reduce the gap.
· If your dog’s fur is severely matted, detangle it first before cutting. Otherwise, it could damage the scissors and result in uneven trimming.· It's recommended to give your dog a bath and dry their coat before trimming. Start with thinning scissors to thin out the coat, then use other scissors to finish the trim.
· Pay close attention to the correct posture when using the scissors. Improper use can affect the trimming results (causing snagging and pulling) and may also damage the scissors.
· After using the scissors, clean them with a dry cloth to prevent residue from dulling the blades. If possible, disinfect the blades with alcohol to extend the lifespan.
Suitable Areas for Different Types of Scissors:
· Straight Scissors: Ideal for trimming most parts of the dog’s body, such as the back, legs, abdomen, and can also be used for detailing the edges of the ears and tail.
· Thinning Shears (also called Blending or Chunking Scissors): Perfect for trimming the dog's head, face, ear edges, and areas with thicker fur.
· Curved Scissors: Best for shaping the dog's facial contours, around the ears, chest, and hips, where curved lines are needed.
Additional Information:
· The finger holes of these scissors are suitable for those with a finger width of no more than 1 inches.
· Please carefully review the instruction manual before using the scissors. Using the scissors correctly will result in better grooming results.

These scissors are like every other set of scissors I have seen. I guess those who make these scissors think only left handed people with skinny fingers will be using them. These are left handed and I can barely fit my fingers into the finger holes. I am a normal sized man with normal size man fingers. There are lots of men who groom their own dogs and there are many who are also professional groomers. There are also around 80% more righthanded people on earth than there are lefthanded people. The scissors are nice and sharp, but that's where it stops. See the photos for how well they don't fit. They are also curved for a left hand person to use. In the photos there are 2 pair of scissors. The bigger one DID NOT come with this kit, it is the one I bought at a pet shop. There is quite a bit of size difference and quality difference. This set is ok, but I would not recommend it to anyone I like.

Great for at home grooming . These are high quality scissors. I use these on my 2 small dogs. They are light weight , sharp but very safe for cutting around the pups face . They work great for grooming my babies at home.

The quality of the straight and curve scissors & comb are great, very much sufficient for home use. They are sharp and sturdy. Not flimsy or cheaply made. I only wish the thinnning shears are as sharp as the other shears.

I’m so glad I found this set for grooming my Bernedoodle at home! They’re super easy to use and to clean. It allows for great accuracy and great cuts. The size is just right in the handles and the blade too. I’ve used them several times now and I would recommend them to anyone!

I like the different tools that are included but they are not holding up great. The scissors loosen themselves just with the motion of cutting, so while grooming my dog I frequently have to re-tighten. They also seem to be prone to rusting on the tips. I don't feel very confident about being able to resharpen these, so may have to just buy a nicer set whenever they wear out. They've been alright as I've been learning how to groom my dog at home, but you can tell I didn't pay a lot for them!

Love this kit to trim my puppy between cuts. His eyebrows grow long and works great. Cuts hair very easily and I like that they have a protector on the end so its not too sharp just incase he twitches.

I'm a professional groomer who's just starting out in terms of money and not being able to afford the higher quality gear yet, and the professional set is great for just that! Everything in this kit is surprisingly durable and can take accidental drops perfectly fine. The comb can definitely pull out and break down some hefty knots and mats without the teeth bending at all, it's pretty strong! Despite not being top-of-the-line quality shears, they come decently sharp and don't dull very quick at all; HOWEVER, after having them professionally sharpened after a few months of use, they DEFINITELY have a higher quality feel to them, of course, and feel "more professional", which further exemplifies how getting these are such a good deal if you treat them well! They aren't too loud when cutting either which I love, I know some shears that are way too loud when cutting. They're all pretty comfortable in my fingers too, and while my fingers are quite slim and slide through the holes easily, just getting those cheap and simple hole grips solve that issue perfectly.The curves did loosen a little quickly at first when I purchased these, maybe after about a few weeks, but that isn't a big deal to me though, as you can tighten it back up easily anyway, and fortunately it hasn't loosened at all since. Plus, I feel it's a little normal for them to loosen over time with consistent use anyway. The thinners are my FAVORITE and are such a great in between of nicely blending but also taking off a decent amount like chunkers. Overall a pretty good set for the price and great for anyone just starting out grooming or owners wanting to groom at home!
