I bought these because the first pair I bought didn't have the gel thickness I wanted for the palm of my hand. These do a great job and have lots of palm padding. Highly reccommend.

I HAVE BEEN WEARING GIRO FOR MANY YEARS. THE QUALITY OF THESE GLOVES COMPARED TO OLDER PAIRS I HAVE SEEM BETTER. THEY FIT A STATED (AMAZON GAVE ME A SUGGESTION OF LARGE WHICH IS MY USUAL SIZE). ONE 50 MILE RIDE OFFERED SOME NUMBNESS RIGHT HAND(MILD AT WORST) BUT COULD HAVE BEEN MY POSITION ON BIKE. THICKER HAND PAD THAN CASTELLI WHICH I AM ALSO TRYING AS WELL FOR COMPARISON. CHEAPER THAN CASTELLI.UPDATE: The gloves fell apart at the seams after 1use. Not just 1 pair but 3 pairs-these are much cheaper made than the Giro of old-not sure if Amazon has the rights to the name and have cheap crap made in china??!!

Great build quality, plenty of padding, especially on the inner thumb where I tend to get chaffed. I wear this for both road and MTB. Easy on, easy off, and true to size. Well vented on the back, soft and durable on the palms, effective Velcro closure. I love 'em. Recommended.

Bought these for the additional padding as my hands go numb on long rides. They have been amazing. They hold up well. I lost one glove and had to buy a replacement as they are my favorite. Definitely recommend.

I got this for the gel padding, and it works. The gloves do a great job absorbing/dampening shock thru the handlebars. They are also the warmest gloves I have, but heavier material, good stitching... they appear to be designed to ride the distance.

My first note is to be wary of reviews telling you they run small. I normally wear a large and saw some people advising to size up. I got an XL because of this and they were too big. The fingers were a bit too long and the hands were not that snug. So I returned them, thanks Amazon, and ordered a size Large. These fit nicely. The gloves snugged up nicely without feeling tight or restrictive and the finger length (I’m 6’02” but don’t have long fingers) was much better especially with the pinky finger. This is my first pair of cycling gloves along a new Ebike journey so I can’t give any advice on how good this brand is compared to others. They feel nice on and don’t seem to have any painful or annoying binding. I hope they hold up but time will tell. My advice on ordering is just measure your hand width and length to fingertips and go by their size guide. If you’re still feeling iffy by your measurements I’d err on a smaller one just because I’m guessing you’ll get some stretch after use with movement, moisture, etc.. In any event the return and refund were easy and quick as was shipping. Good luck and hope this helps.

The gloves are very comfortable. My commute to work is long, takes about two hours, and I got these gloves because they were specifically recommended to reduce wrist pain. And looks like they did their magic because I haven't been feeling any pain since I started wearing them (I also did a seat height adjustment so maybe that also contributed). The padding is good, the grip is good and the gloves are reasonably warm.My only problem is that, after wearing them for a month, a piece of blue rubber fell out from one of the paddings. This happened while I was riding, like out of nowhere I could feel a piece of rubber between my fingers. I wanted to put it back in but somehow lost it. It's not a big deal because it's just one padding out of like 15, so I don't feel the difference, but it got me worried that maybe these gloves will fall apart within a year. Let's hope I'm wrong on that!

One of the gel pads came out due to loose stitching on the thumb the first time wearing them. But if it was not for this I would have given 5 stars, nice materials and good design.

Comfortable, true on size and durable. I'm riding aprox 3 times a week and previous pair served me for good 2 years. I would not recommend to wash them on hot cycle and let them dry on it's own, no dryer.

Magníficos!! Cuidado al elegir la talla porque GIRO es norteamericana y dan más talla de lo normal

These are my 2nd pair of State Dure gloves, and until I see something better I'll be back for more. These are comfortable and durable- my other pair still in excellent condition after a full season of use. I'm buying these now because as the summer season passes, these become more difficult to find in my size and the desired color of black/red. I cycle in a hot and humid climate, and my hands get soaked with perspiration. What I like about these gloves is that even after getting wet and repeated machine washings, they maintain their size, shape and appearance. The design of these gloves is excellent, with Giro's super gel padding in the critical locations on my palm- my thumb pad and over the ulnar nerve area. This makes a long ride comfortable minimizing the pressure and numbness experienced with lesser gloves. Other desirable details include: backs are made of a breathable mesh to allow for evaporation of moisture while protecting your hands from the sun, and the palms are covered in a soft synthetic suede that is both comfortable and durable. The wrist opening has an adjustable velcro closure, important for people like me that have longer and narrower hands, and there are tabs both on the inside of the wrist opening and on the two middle finger openings making fitting and removal a cinch, especially once your hands are sweaty.
