Overall, a decent bit of kit but the hose is not quite kink-proof. The hose itself is sturdy. Make sure you mount this solidly as the reel return spring is pretty strong so there's quite a bit of force placed on the reel assembly when you pull and retract the hose.

I have had this for 10 months. I absolutely loved it. I could reach anywhere in and outside of the garage. I probably have used it maybe 2 dozen times. Started washing my truck today and the hose blew out. Very disappointed. I cannot find where to put a claim in on it. I guess I should have been a little more cautious about buying this one. I don’t recommend this product….

A self-winding power washer hose can really save time and effort. It’s amazing how a little convenience can make such a big difference in your routine. I wash my cars often and use to always hate having to unwind the power washer hose and try to wrap it neatly after I’m done, now life is much easier just a quick pull and it winds its self up. Best investment!

I tried many other reels also but this reel is awesome works great and easy to install no leakage provide perfect pressure and we’re gonna install even on the roof on the wall and in the ground wall, the great thing I like it’s retractable system lock, and unlock easily overall it’s the perfect and great choice of investment

I purchased this reel and it lasted about 2 weeks maybe 3, it’s a great product and worked excellent but I guess the hose wasn’t as durable as I thought and the hose busted. But I believe maybe it was rubbing on my trailer (I detail vehicles) but I’m not sure. Either way something caused it to bust. But I dealt with Grace and she was great and very helpful. The company sent me a new upgraded version of the one I had. Honestly I’d leave 4 stars for the original one I bought because it was what it was meant for but the hose just wasn’t as durable. But I’m giving 5 stars because there’s no way around not appreciating the business and support I got from receiving a new one with no worries! Thanks Grace.

Was a nice little addition to my small car washing set up under my carport, it’s definitely not a professional grade reel and probably wouldn’t last long in every day use but I love it saves me so much time and headache instead of a hose laying around and long enough to reach around my full size truck! Definitely recommend for the car enthusiast looking to make car washing more enjoyable. I paired it with the chemical guys electric pressure washer and works well. All in all a great buy for the price and amount of use I have

Have had this less than a year.It has a hose leak near the end that rarely gets pulled out. The hose is not very durable and chafes easily. The retract mechanism is slowing and has to be helped on occasion to retract all the way. Avoid this product.

Nicely packed, easy to install. The fitings that come with it are wrong. So i orderd the right ones.Used it for the first time it had no leaks. The reel mechanism is nice it locks right where you need it and it holds. The 65' hose it comes with is decent. Long enough for my needs.Use caution when you extend it out almost to the end. The tention is high.So I reel it back slowly not letting go otherwise it would retract with great force. I would also wear a glove or not let the hose slide through your hand to fast or it will give you a burn.The build quality seems good enough. The performance was great. The convenience of the reel is great.Perfect for a garage presure washing station.

It has a very strong spring which is nice. Doesn't leak, locks in fine, and handles my 1800psi electric washer fine.I added a bunch of quick connects to it so I could easily drain it after every use while winding it up, which I highly recommend.My only problem with this, and with many of these types of wall mounted reels, is there isn't much room behind it to get lag bolts in while mounting. I wish it had a seperate mount that it kinda hooked onto because in the winter I'd like the option of bringing it inside but I ended up building my own solution.

I was excited to get this thing. Pressure washer hose are always a pain to manage. This made it simple. However, a few caveats: the reel is not very good at winding back properly and the worst part is the hose busted after bit even 2 months. Contacted customer service… crickets… haven’t heard back from them.

I purchased the hose reel earlier this year used it maybe 10 times the hose ruptured in 2 separate locations and at the time I was quite disappointed with it giraffe tools reached out to me and replaced the hose reel no questions asked it’s quite nice for a company that will stand up for their product my overall experience with this excellent thanks again

4-11-24: {5 stars} I am only using a 1500psi rated (probably 1200 REAL psi) electric pressure washer, but this reel extends and retracts easily whether the line is pressurized or not. Hose is SUPER flexible. I wish Giraffe would sell the EXACT hose separately. I'd buy a few just because how flexible they are even under pressure.UPDATE 5-7-24: {still 5 stars} Less than one month outside, rust stains are already forming around the arm mounting screws. Doesn't really matter to me, but I thought I would mention it.UPDATE: 6-10-24: {1 star} HOSE BURST ! I am using it with a 1500psi unit so its way below rating. Use this only 10 times to wash off my outdoor power equipment (tractor, mower, trimmer, etc).I submitted a warranty claim on 6-10-24 and will update this review if/when the company responds.UPDATE: 6-24-24: [Upgraded to 3 stars} Received a replacement unit. Manufacturer support was excellent (5 stars for customer service). We'll see if this new unit fares better than the first.ON A SIDE NOTE:After the hose burst, I attempted to get a replacement hose. I figured I could get a good flexible hose and have a fitting installed by a hydraulic repair shop. Nope. Fittings this unit uses are as far from non-standard as you can get. I ended up putting together a complete unit myself using an air hose reel. There are many YouTube videos that show how to do this. Overall cost was a bit over 200 when all was said and done...BUT at least everything is "off the shelf" so repairs are possible.I purchased this item originally because it was cheaper and a complete ready to go solution. I understand not everyone wants to assemble or fix things, but keep in mind that this unit is NOT easily repairable (i.e. hose/fittings) when making a decision to purchase this.
