I ordered the wrong hose box hose. I ordered a female connection on both ends of the hose.I needed a male female connection.I am trying to return the wrong hose with the two female connections.I ordered the correct hose with male female connections. Waiting for it to arrive.Overall the hose box hose is a great hose.Just make sure to order the correct hose.

Needed to replace the leader hose to my hose reel. This one was the perfect length and the materials appear to be quality and well made.

The leader hose for my hose reel broke after a few years, so this fit the bill nicely. Thick rubber and good quality, solid brass fittings, probably could use it as a weapon for the zombie apocalypse if it comes to that. No leaks, which is also a bonus for keeping my water bill down. Hopefully will last and I won't need to buy another one!

Good value for the price point. I was looking for a significantly thicker hose but couldn’t find one and settled on this one (after about 3 days of researching hoses).It’s nice and lightweight, the connectors are nice chunky brass. The hose is somewhat softer than expected but it does significantly reduce kinking. It will still kink in some extreme scenario but we use it to water pots for several hours a day and it’s much easier to work with this hose. Traditional hoses aren’t as flexible. Water tight fit with a washer.

I was tired of dragging around 50 and 75 foot garden hoses. Although advertised and priced as kink-free and heavy duty, they always failed to meet expectations. I spent a lot of time untangling and unkinking my hoses. I decided I needed a dedicated short hose for my patio area with no point further than 25 feet from the faucet. Giraffe 25 ft promised to fill the need and it delivered. Stiff out of the package as expected. Uncoiled with water running through it in the heat of the day immediately resolved that. The hose material is soft to the touch, strong, flexible, and rubbery. The stripes help me easily recoil the hose for storage. The faucet connector is extra shiny like brass but of lighter weight like hard plastic or softer metal. I was disappointed at first but the hose-faucet connection is tight without leaking, dripping, or spraying so I am completely satisfied. Kinking is absolutely not a problem. Perhaps the shorter length contributes to that. Even so I am so satisfied with this hose I am tempted to toss all my other hoses and replace them with longer lengths from Giraffe. That's how much I hate kinky hoses and how much I love my Giraffe.

This hose appears to be pretty decent. My only "issue" is the ends are NOT solid brass......but some base metal that is Brass Plated. Use it a bit and the brass plating gets rubbed off and exposes the base metal. So far the hose is surviving being drug across concrete and my high water pressure. Usually I get 2-3 years max out of a garden hose so time will tell if its any better than previous.

This is not 100% solid brass as advertised. I was suspicious due to how it felt when I received it and took a file to it and it revealed it was gall-prone aluminum underneath.
