I wanted to like this cover but I’d stay away from it if unless you want your pocket 3 all scuffed up. I’ve used this case for over a month now and there needs to be some softer material inside the case. The hard plastic left so many marks and scratches all over the gimbal.

The dji osmo pocket 3 is supposed to be easy to carry and to film with. This cap provides the necessary protection around the pocket 3's most fragile parts : the gimble and the screen. the case that comes with the dji is a little too bulky to be able to fit in your pocket which this little device is meant to do. If you need to throw the pocket 3 in a bag you need some sort of case on it or else the gimble would just be moving around. Taking this cap off when you need to film something takes a bit of practice as you need to press the sides of the cap with a bit of force but once you get used to it, you can do it really fast and film what you need.

This is so much better than the protective case that comes with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Sure, that case also has magnetic spots for filters, and a slide at the top for the Mic 2... but it doesn't truly secure the gimbal and it's very bulky. However this inexpensive, well-designed, form-fitted case firmly secures the gimbal, and protects the screen, allowing you to actually slip the pocket 3 into your pocket! The case is thin plastic, so it's not going to protect the Osmo from a big fall onto a very hard surface, but it will do a better job than the DJI case, which is open on one side. I'm sure I'll need to replace the case at some point -- it's not built for longetivity, but it's practical and form-fitting. I've been using this case with the Osmo "on-the-go" and leaving the DJI hard case at home (or in the camera bag).

Great job.Negative reviews? Certainly not my experience about cheap 3D molding, hard to open and/or can scratch the screen.....naaaahhhhh. Nice hinged case, very fast, easy to open simply by lifting the screen cover. Screen cover over basically rests on the frame around the screen - no issue, no factor, no scratch threat...unless maybe lots of pressure is applied...like sitting on you Pocket 3....that'd be bad regardless!I've got the creator combo with the Osmo Case, prefer carrying using this case in a fast to access pocket.Reminds me of the nice Polar Pro minimal cover for the OP1. Puts us back to pocket EDC camera.Thanks!!!
