I have a cat that likes to chew cords. Only charging cable type cords, not cords for lamps, printers appliances, etc.These covers are just fine for the purpose I need... covering the charging cables. I would recommend for any other purpose.

Looks like a 5 year old sewed it and isn’t big enough to go over the plug part! What a waste! Should have done it myself to begin with!

As other reviewers have stated, these are completely non-functional for a chandelier that is already installed and are probably too narrow for the chain/wires of any chandelier even if you tried to put it on during installation. They aren't even really functional as a cord-hide because the openings are so small (and have minimum stretch) that you would have difficulty getting any plug through them. They resemble nothing so much as really cheaply made bathrobe ties.

Several years ago I had to make my own chain cover. It is so nice to find this with a zipper so it is easy to install. The black velvet blends in well with black fixtures.

Too thin, not usable as chandelier wire cover and even most other wires because it is so narrow to fit plugs through as it does not open on the side.

It is misleading to describe this as a cover for "chandelier chains," for "hanging lamps." There is no way to use it to cover the chain for a hanging lamp without dismantling the entire fixture globe from the chain because the fabric cover is all one piece. It would only work for a free-standing lamp or cable cords. Fabric/color is as described.
