I learned of this product in France when DD got diaper rash. From what I can tell it is a thin, oily lotion that has limestone in it to neutralize the acidity.Apparently used instead of baby wipes, which are water based. The lotion is wiped on to clean and residue is left on. Unlike a wipe that leaves a little wet on the skin, this leaves a light, protective, neutralizing, breathable barrier.I love it because when we had to deal with diaper rash, wetness was always an irritating factor and no matter what cream I used, if I didn't get the area bone dry with a blow dryer first (impossible with travel) then putting the regular creams on the rash did nothing. This was the first time that I felt like I was able to treat the rash on the go.

Didn't work super well on MAJOR case of diaper rash, but works well to prevent minor rashes. It also works great to lessen my son's pilaris keratosis, so I slather it on him almost daily and it's nearly gone!! Who knew?!

I have been using this on my twins for a few months now (this is my second bottle, first one ran out) they are teething now and it's causing issues with rashes on their bums. I also use cloth diapers so the typical diaper creams are not an option for me. This stuff works so amazingly well. My one twin had an active sore bum when I got my first bottle and I used it and it cleared her right up by the next diaper change. I vowed then and there that I would use this until their diaper days were over. I did run out accidentally (my mom thought it was lotion and lathered them up with it LoL). If your little one has troubles with diaper rash or teething has their bum red and inflamed this stuff is the bomb! It will have them fixed right up.

Odeur et consistance agréables (odeur = celle de l'huile d'olive, sans autre parfum, c'est sympathique), flacon facile à manipuler, bouchon qui ne laisse pas de coulure. Nettoie bien tout en laissant un film protecteur sur la peau du nourrisson. Quantité pour un peu plus d'un mois environ (5-6 changes / jour) sans faire spécialement attention.Le liniment oléo-calcaire est, de manière générale, très efficace et peu agressif pour les fesses des nourrissons (bien mieux que des produits plus "markettés" par ailleurs) ; celui-ci en particulier donne entière satisfaction.
