Pretty straightforward install. The 100 mps and 1000 mps ports were a little confusing but took the plunge and tried the 1000 mps port. AC plug- POE to dish and LAN to Starlink on Main unit and POE to slave unit and lan to wireless router. Left on channel 1. Installed the main first and powered up. 30 minutes later I installed the slave on my shop, powered it up and within a couple minutes had internet!! Much cheaper than pipe and wire underground and so far it works perfectly!!

Ok, I needed to replace a mouse chewed Cat5 cable in my house's crawl space to connect my home 's Xfinity router to my detached office. Its about 75" away and my wireless kept dropping webinars and video calls. So either pay someone $500+ to re-pull new cat 5 and re-connect or try a $200 PTP system. Bought this one. I mounted on the side of my detached building, connected the cables to the POE, POE to my switch (for my office laptop and printer). Super easy. Now don't laugh, but tried an experiment and set up the master unit in my indoor pantry. Hooked all cables up, powered up, got full power, went to my office and did a speed test and it WORKED! Really well. So no mounting my router side unit outside...it's hidden in my pantry and that makes wife happy. I'm running 200+ down and around 40 up. Not as fast as my wired connection obviously, but a very inexpensive fix!Look I know what I did probably wouldn't work for further distances, but for me, the indoor set up is working great!

This product was very easy to install and the signal strength broadcasting to an outbuilding 300 ft away from my house is excellent. Make sure you have two high speed ethernet cables and a high speed router to get maximum performance.

Worked great, easy to set up. I'm using at a distance of about 400 feet.

Purchased this 9/16 after reading reviews on it and researching other PTP devices. The range and bundle with the mount is what sold me, so I decided to try it. The packaging was quality and included everything it said it would. I also read many reviews about the physical manual included in it so I knew what to expect going forward. I only used the included PoE and connected everything up (minus the backhaul). I wanted to log into the devices and ensure config, but that's where everything went bad.The configuration seemed dead simple, connect power, point them at each other, and let it do the rest. That happened, but when I tried accessing 192.168.255.101 / 192.168.255.201, it took almost 5 minutes to load the auth screen, and once that loaded another 2-3 minutes of my web browser spinning to load the full page. I assumed maybe it was because it was right at boot, so I tried navigating to a few pages and giving it a few minutes. the CPU load showing at the top, when it loaded, never went over 10%, but it was using about 80% MEM (if i remember correctly). This is when I broke out terminal and began pings to see if it's dropping packets for some reason but no, every ping got a response.I opened up Wireshark and there were multiple TCP SYN and no responses. So TCP tried over and over again until the device felt like responding to those. Even then, the full HTTP didn't load. Issue happened on Safari, Chrome, Firefox, private mode, etc, etc.I reached out to their support since they had already sent the PDF manual over, they first said my system was out of date and to try another system...it's not, macOS v13.5.2.. I initially asked if there was any firmware updates and they said it's on the latest, and then they suggested clearing my cookies/cache. Needless to say, I requested to return this. The value was there, the price point was good, but if I can't access the management page, I can't IMAGINE what speed/bandwidth/quality would be if this actually worked.Unfortunately, 1 star. And I would recommend not to purchase this.
