The hoop on my mapex pro m broke on a gig. This didn't match, and I didn't expect it to, but it looks even better on the kit than the original.

This is a very solid hoop. It has a nice gloss finish. It's in Round. I'm attaching a pic for someone that asked if the outside edge was round or flat.

I used this to replace a crack hoop on a middle school bass drum. It was clear that it had been cracking moving the drum with the pedal attached. The hoop is well made, well finished a build a bit better the stock Gretsch hoop. It works great.

The fit and finish is really nice on this hoop! It looks killer on my junky practice drums... probably the nicest thing about them! The hoop arrived in excellent shape and in perfect round.
