I love this little not so little washing machine. I did not hook it up to the water supply. My faucet did not work with the connectors. A shower with a long hose or buckets will do. Easy to move great stability & cleans like the larger versions. For one or two people it is perfect & adorable. I looked at all of them. This brand is the best.

Worth the extra money. Do NOT press down to fill more as it will overload and void it's usefulness. When used as directed the cloths spin dry to 90 percent dry. The black piece in shipment, I read about ..I slid it back in place then screwed the bottom on. Made a very sturdy operating machine. If it needed support in shipment stood to reason it would need support when agitating a heavy load. Great for a single person or small couple. Do Not pull plastic off top with out gentle support to the lid so that it doesn't bend or break. That was another issue I read about. The regular dual attachment for both temperature water fits great. No leaks. Don't use a lot of hot water as directed due to material it is made of. Follow directions to avoid problems. I have used these little machines for years.

This little machine is perfect and makes life a little easier especially living with a family that has small children. I wish the drum size was bigger to take a big load and cut down on the timing to wash etc. Therefore, I love and would recommend it to others. Follows the instructions and everything will be fine. Upon inspection when it came , inside the drum on one side ; there was some brown liquid that dried up but I notice that it has somewhat disappeared as I used the washer. The noise level is really good, not loud but quiet. When moving this machine around, it is not heavy and it doesnât have wheels. But it easy to manoeuvre; but it will be better to get a dolly to move it around depending on where you are keeping it. The performance of the spinner is really good and clothes comes out clean. Ad the durability is great!!

I've had this washing machine for more than 2 years now and it still works perfectly. I never had a single issue with it and it cleans my clothes better than my mom's full size machine. It's perfect for my small apartment, size I don't have a dedicated laundry space. I store it in the shower when I don't use it (or the shower, obviously). It's just light enough to be transportable from room to room if needed and it has 2 convenient handles on the sides. I calculated that it paid itself in the first 11 months with the savings on laundromat. However, I think it's important to address a few things, since reading the other reviews (especially the 1 star ones) I noticed that some people don't understand some very obvious things about this machine.1. It's a small washing machine. It's not meant to replace a full size machine. That means you shouldn't overfill it with a full load of clothes. On the high water level, it will wash 1 pair of pants and 3 shirts or 5 shirts or 2-3 pairs of pants. Anything more than that and it will either not clean well, spill over or break the spinner. It's too small for my full (double) bed duvet, but I can wash everything else, including my towels, blanket and sheets. It has a lint/hair collector on the side of the drum that works so well I wonder why full size machine don't have one! If you have the space and budget for a full size machine, buy a full size machine! However, for the size and price, you can't beat this one!2. Contrary to what some say, it does not require any "installation". You just need to remove the black plastic piece at the bottom and packing foam, as it's just a stabilizer for shipping. Mine came with a notice telling me about it, but it seems that no everyone received one (or they discarded it without reading it).3. Yes it's true, the water intake hose that comes with it will not fit on all western style faucets, but it's an Asian product designed primarily for the Asian market, so that's not too surprising. It does fit perfectly on my kitchen faucet after removing the aerator, but it doesn't fit on my bathroom faucet. You can to buy an adaptor if it doesn't fit. You can find them online, but it's best to bring the hose and the faucet aerator to a hardware store to find an adaptor that is compatible with both sides. Alternatively, it will fit on a gardening hose or you can just use a hand shower to fill it manually, like I do.4. Some have said that the company doesn't sell replacement parts, which is true, but most of the parts are generic and commonly available online from different suppliers. I never needed to replace any, but I searched and easily found the belt, the motor, the pump and the inlet solenoid.5. No, it doesn't dry the clothes, but it spins them fast enough that they are just damp and dry quickly on a clothesline or rack. I have no clue why so many people are confused and claiming it is falsely advertising that is dries clothes. There is nothing of the sort in the description! It even says "Please note: It can only do 80% spinning drying." I'm on the Canadian version of Amazon, so maybe it's different elsewhere...6. Yes, the front yellow sticker is a pain to remove, but using a hairdryer on the warmest setting and a razor blade, it becomes much easier!7. Some complained that it overflowed, but they either did something wrong (like filling it without pressing start) or they had a defective unit, because it has an automatic overfill sensor and will drain out if the water level is too high. I tested it and it drains faster than I can fill it!8. Do not use hot water in it as it is not designed to resist high temperature. That being said, you can use up to 50C (122F) warm water, but it washes really well with just cold or lukewarm water!9. Do not use too much soap or it will bubble over, as the agitation is quite vigorous! I use a quarter of what's recommended for a full load when filling it to the highest setting and it works fine.10. No, it is not silent, but it isn't super loud either. When I close the bathroom door, I can just barely ear it.11. Yes, it's build with plastic, but it's sturdy enough that unless you beat on it, it will not break. It has to be plastic, otherwise it would be too heavy to be portable.

Being broke and in a situation where I am constantly living in apartments my only option had been hand wash or go to a laundromat. I do not have transportation so a laundromat was always dependent on whether or not I had enough money to spend on a cab plus the amount to get things washed and dried in the machines. I saved up for this little guy, and it has been amazing. It is just a washer so I have to air dry my clothes after, but it does such a good job. It is small so the loads need to be decently split up for larger items. It also can't handle big comforters/blankets.I didn't much like the hose, and would probably have to get one that would fit onto my faucet, but honestly you could just use a bucket. I fill the water up and run the wash cycle twice once with soap, once for the rinse, and than do a spin cycle. Being I fill the machine manually the short rinse cycle seems very wasteful and time consuming. Maybe this is blasphemy, but it cleans and rinses perfect. My clothes aren't super dirty so maybe if they were I would soak or run it through another time.It is so much better than hand washing, and it has been about 2 years since purchase. If and when it fails I will probably edit to note how it failed but it is still perfect.

If you have a small space and want to keep your clothes clean without having to dish out a couple bucks and go down to your laundry facilities, this is the way to do it. It works really well, can clean a good amount of clothes at once and wrings out the wet clothes pretty well so hanging them for a couple hours is enough to make them dry. Highly recommend.

So we've had our Giantex for a few weeks now, enough time to run quite a few loads. I picked this out to replace my beloved Haier that I'd picked up used some four years ago and which had held me in good stead until recently when it began to have spinning issues. When the significant other offered to go halves on a brand new machine, I decided, well, why not.So here we are, with this Giantex. The day of arrival, and unboxing. The first quirk to note was that the bottom panel wasn't screwed on. Now my sweetheart is handy enough but getting all the way down on the ground is difficult so this was definitely a me job. Fortunately, I'm handy enough as well with a screwdriver, but to be honest, this was something that could have been done prior to shipping. While moving the machine to it's home, we noted a few things. 1. The outer casing of the machine is plastic and somewhat flimsy, unlike my Haier. It feels like a good push would break through that plastic. Being in a very small, cramped space, and both of us being bigger people, and having a 12-year-old in this same cramped space, I'm waiting for that day to come.2. No wheels, which was a minor disappointment, but thankfully the machine is lightweight. Light enough that even I can lift it, and my limit is somewhere under 50 lbs on a short distance. Basically, if we need to scoot it out of it's designated corner, I can do so.3. The hose that connects the machine to the water line. It's SHORT, and THIN. I did initially hook it up, but it stayed on the machine for about two minutes. We realized right away that it did not reach our sink, and decided to see if the hose from the Haier would fit. It did, and since the Giantex was going right where the Haier had been, and the hose was long enough, the Haier hose (which is pretty heavy-duty, but does have a leak on the sink end) went on the Giantex.4. The u-shaped holder for the drain pipe doesn't fit over our sink the way it needs to in order to hold the drainpipe in the sink. That, however, wasn't a huge deal. We used some pipe cleaner to tie the drain pipe to the water hose so that the drain pipe doesn't come flying out. I'd rigged up something years ago with the Haier which didn't have anything at ALL to hold that hose in the sink so not a deal-breaker.And we were off. Ready to do our first load. After several loads, we discovered this machine does have one annoying quirk, and THIS is where I deducted the star. It's nothing that would make me return the machine, and it's something my SO and I handle decently, but when my 12-year-old does wash, she doesn't pay attention to the sounds very well and misses it.The main cycle we tend to choose is wash/rinse/spin. Because we're not hooking to a dedicated washer dryer hookup, and because of how our stupid sink reacts to water pressure, we HAVE to turn the water off when the machine is full. I knew this going into purchase because I've needed to do it with the Haier as well. That's not the quirk. The quirk is this. The machine on this cycle needs to be filled three times. Once initially, once at 17 minutes to go, and once at 9 minutes to go. It seems to fill and starts to agitate. So you think, good to go, on your merry way. Only to come back by a few minutes later and notice the counter hasn't moved. The machine wants a LITTLE MORE WATER.That took me a good minute to figure out why we'd paused. Now, this mainly becomes an issue when it's NOT noticed the machine has stopped for more than like a half-hour, and you get the E-4 error code (happened once to my SO because he'd gotten called outside and missed the sounds, and happened to the 12yo not paying attention to her wash.)If it weren't for that, and the plastic being flimsy, I'd have gladly given this five stars. But four stars is good enough. It gets the clothes clean, I'll give it that much. Once I got used to its different sounds and its cadence, it's settled in as though it's been around all along. All I hope now though is it holds up as long as my Haier did. Time will tell on that though, and I'll update if anything happens to change this review.Edit to add:We are now about three months into having this machine. In this time, we had to move apartments, and I've changed the setup a little as our new place is basically completely backwards from our old one, and the machine had to be situated differently. It is now hard-wired to the sink via an adapter setup that allows me to switch between the washer hose and faucet (Available for about $10 on Amazon, but you'll need a second adapter because the outlet for the hose isn't quite the right size, purchased for less than $5 at Home Depot.)I had to extend the drain hose because the new placement left me just a little short. Again, easy enough to buy an extension at Home Depot. Also. You can't "Replace" that drain hose. I tried initially before I used the 'replacement' as an 'extension', which was a lot cheaper than the extender kits. The downside. For some reason the machine, if you have the water to the high setting, will overflow. I don't know if it's a bad sensor on it or not. We've compensated by using the medium water setting, which honestly gets to about where the high used to. But it's something to keep your eye out for.All said and done though, it's still doing a good job of getting our clothes clean!
