This is a softshell knee pad. These are very similar to the EVS TP199 Lite knee pads. I love them both. The G-Form E-Lines offer slightly more protection in a wreck, while the EVS TP199s are slightly more comfortable. But the G-Forms are still very comfortable. The EVS are slide on, while the G-Forms are completely strap on. They're both great. With the G-Forms, the sizing chart is pretty accurate, so make sure to measure 8" above your knee cap and at the thickest point of your calf. If unsure, try the size that fits your thigh measurement. The velcro on the G-Forms is STRONG. VERY hard to undo. The velcro on the EVS TP199s isn't nearly as strong, but it's strong enough and they are also slide-on, so the velcro doesn't need to be as strong.I also tried the Dakine Agent 0/0 knee pads, and both G-Form and EVS were much better in terms of fit, technology, and protection. All in all I really like these G-Forms. I will add that if you're wanting a hard shell knee pad, neither of these are it. For something hard shell to downhill and dirt jump with, I prefer the Fox Titan Pro D30 pads. They bend really well with your knees and offer excellent cushion on impact.

So far the knee pads work well. The side zippers may have issues in the future. That’s the only part that doesn’t appear well made. But the other straps will keep them in place regardless.Lots of layers of protection and they don’t slide down.

Fitment was excellent, workmanship spot-on, potential for solving my offroad adventure riding needs is quite high. I got these because I was not satisfied with the built-in knee pads of my ADV riding suit, which were on the small side and were always rotating off to the side with active rider moves to assist bike balance and cornering.

These are amazingly comfortable. I use them for dirt bike woods riding. They stay in place. I don't even know they're on. I am a bigger guy with tree truck legs. Very well made.

I love the combination of lightweight material throughout most of the pad and hard shell on the most sensitive parts. It's very comfortable to wear, and the zip-up panel gives you the option of putting these on and taking them off without removing your shoes. I haven't taken a major spill with them yet (and hopefully never will), and I'm a little worried that the side impact protection may not be quite what I'm hoping for, but time will tell. For now, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I haven’t taken a fall yet with these, but I have confidence in them. I got them for protection on my e-bike. I broke my knee last year on my e-bike when I slide on wet pavement, and got these to avoid having that happen again. Very comfortable. Stay in place even though I pedal like crazy. I wear them over my jeans. Easy and quick to get off using the zipper. When putting on, I recommend zipping them up before attempting to put them on. I can get them to stretch over my shoes, but normally I take my shoes off to avoid putting the extra stress on them. I feel I got a great product well worth the price.

Wear them for one wheeling. No range of motion issue. Seems to be good protection. Maybe a slightly larger knee pad, but then again, these are for biking. Works for me

Key things to note:-smaller than you think (in a good way)-comfortable but requires some attention (zipper)-warm but cool compared to others with similar protection-easy on/off but requires some attention (zipper)-pads can't be removed for cleaning-both top and bottom of pads stay in place and do not distract at all going downhill.Based off pictures and higher than normal thigh measurements, I assumed these pads were going to be huge.  They are actually pretty compact for the amount of protection even with the skid guard!I am 6ft tall 175lb and based off gforms size guide, I ordered size small.  The hook&loop straps wrap around my leg and fully hide the velcro material on the thigh where the calf area has about 1in remaining.  So sizing appears to be correct with room to spare if I start gaining some weight...Not very scientific but I tend to do a drop test with new pads to guage how effective the padding is.  Dropped to my knees in my garage and felt no bone jarring effect or pain for that matter.  Ion ktraze knee pads would sting a bit and jarring was a 7 on a scale of 10.  10 being painful.  For more reference, my demon knee pads with d30 (similar to fox launch) were a 5/10.  I would rate these elines a 2-3, surprisingly. While the pads are small they seem to protect the knee and everything around it pretty well.  The plastic skid plate and padding underneath cover, just barely, the main knee cap.  All the additional padding around the knee protects everything else and it's NOT that cheap spongy foam, it's very dense.  With just the padding alone I feel protected. My main disappointment is all centered around the zipper but it's nothing that can't be overcome, just wish they did something different.  First off zipping up the pad requires each end to be placed carefully all the way down in the track or it will zip up only the top 3/4 and easily come apart if flexing calf.  Not a big deal, just make sure it's correctly zipped and your good.  Second, the top "pocket" for the zipper can poke into my calf if the pocket stiching isn't placed flat and zipper isnt pushed into the pocket.  Also not a big deal but requires extra attention when putting them on.All in all, a great purchase and would recommend to anyone.  Any negatives I found with this pad are just what I found to be the learning curve for this pad and what might scare someone off.

Excelente protección, el precio es bajo pero la protección es alta, bastante transpirable y el cierre para quitarla es muy practico
