  • 1-Make sure the accessories are complete.

    2-Check if the machine is in good condition.

    3-Remove the rubber stopper of under water tank.

    4-Clean the machine according to the section in the manual.

    Choose fine powder, add sufficient amount to the MAX line, and tamp with greater force, so the coffee that comes out is good with rich crema.

  • Yes, it takes force to install the portafilter. This is to prevent water or coffee from leaking through the portafilter. After using for a period of time, the portafilter installation will be smoother without too much force .

Good for price. Works well but very noisy. The plastic smell on the water container takes awhile to dissipate.

This was the best thing ever I just moved into a new house and wanted to have a coffee bar so I bought this and a island and I am the queen of coffee bars lol

We are not new to the home espresso lifestyle. We have several from $400 to $100. We make about 4 to 6 cups a day and have for 25 years. Krups has been the standard that we go by. Unfortunately they don't make them as good as they used to so all the ones for sale are used. So I wanted to give this one a try. First of all it is really good quality and looks great on the counter. Couldn't expect better. Features are exactly what I wanted. Now the con side, it just can't compare to others for the temperature of the coffee. I couldn't get a reading of above 155°. My old machines are at least 195°. To me that was way to cold to bring out the flavor of the beans. Also to I could just about shoot it like tequila. If temperature isn't a concern this would be a good buy. I returned mine
