This is a solid air purifier. I bought it after the LA fires and immediately noticed the quality of the air improve with this. I also have a pet and this keeps my pet's smell toned down. I compared so many different air purifiers and I'm glad I settled on this one, it seems for the price point it does very well for a 1 bedroom apartment. It's pretty quiet as well and the design is sleek

Very good product, simple but effective and easy to maintain.Several other products are fancier presented with nice illustrations but they don't have all the benefits of this particular product: simple, powerful and equipped with a UV-C sanitizing system.The fan inside the purifier seems to be a good quality one because is quiet and not loud even at high speed.Very good product for the price.

The product is listed for 740 Sq Ft but manufacturer (shown on the product box) has it rated as 153 Sq Ft. I am sure it would clean up to 740 at slower time. I am using this for basement rec room (about 500 sq ft) to get rid of basement smell (mildew smell), after having it on at high for 4 days, the smell is little better. For its price, its a good value but at high speed noise is bit loud. Based on 5 diff air cleaner I have in diff rooms, this ranks mid level on performance and low on noise level.

Does an awesome job in cleaning the air! I like the fact that the unit tells me when to change the filter. Circulates air very well. Well worth the money!

Been wanting to get 1 of these to try, and thanks to July Prime days this year, I bought 2 for the apartment. SO HAPPY I got the ones that had the extra layer of pet hair collection!! These babies work so well. They catch the pet hairs well, needing a pet hair filter change after 2 months. I have 2 cats/2dogs, as reference. The larger air filter was clean still at 2 months, so will check again after another 2 months.They can purify a regular size bedroom in an hour or 2, depending on size and quality if air before. It makes such a great difference in the air here. I use 1 in the great living room area and just move it slightly to point to the different areas. When we have gatherings, I just bumped it up to the highest setting. It rocks!! The other is usually in the hallway between the bedrooms. I've been putting it into each room for a couple hours weekly individually. I will be back to buy another one for my bedroom specifically, it really helps with my hay fever/allergies.

All the reviews say their sneezing stopped and allergies gone. No such experience. Am still sneezing every morning even though I keep it running l night.

I bought this air purifier to replace a cheaply made, loud Holmes model that I bought from Walmart. To be fair, it did a decent job, but I wasn't impressed at all. So I ordered the Guardian because, I won't lie, I loved how it looked in the pictures and, more importantly, it had received universally great reviews. After using the Guardian for the past three days straight I can personally attest to the great reviews. This machine is quiet, works wonderfully, and is by far the most aesthetically pleasing air purifier I've ever seen.The only unfortunate thing I can say about it, and others have touched on this issue as well, is that there is a burning plastic smell that I noticed for the first several hours upon turning on the power. My room is medium sized, roughly 75-80 sq. feet (if I had to guess), and the smell was quite potent, especially for the first hour. I remember wondering if the thing would be kind enough to suck up its own smell, but the answer of course was no. Luckily, the smell soon faded and this purifier has been great ever since. I've read other complaints about the glowing blue light keeping people awake at night. I'm glad I'm stubborn and ignored these reviews, because those complaints almost kept me from buying the damn thing. I wouldn't say the light is exactly bright, more of a soft glow, but if you're sensitive to that sort of thing (as I very much am) you can simply turn off the U.V. while you sleep. It will continue to work amazingly without this feature running, although I do leave it on during the day while I'm at work. Does it actually do anything? I have no idea.Finally, I want to add that in NJ, where I live, this is currently prime allergy season, but when I wake up I feel completely neutral, as if the air outside weren't saturated with pollen (and God knows what else--it's NJ!). It's actually quite amazing.Pros: great for allergies, strong quiet suction, aesthetically pleasing beyond belief, will keep your space smelling nice, virtually no dust anywhereCons: that damn smell for the first several hoursBe back in a few months with an update!!
