I use these for my baby as burp cloths. I love how much bigger they are than most regular burp cloths, and they also seem more absorbent than other burp cloths. These have definitely kept some outfits clean even after big spit ups.

I got these for my expecting daughter-in-law. Anybody who has nursed a baby knows that without these little gems, the shoulders of every shirt you own are soon little disaster areas of stains. Not wanting her to have to do anything before the birth, I decided to wash these up and have them ready to go. They did great. As expected. I did not bleach them, but she will totally be able to do so--mine survived that treatment for years.

I use these to make burp cloths. They are really nice to use because they are large and absorbent. I sew colorful borders to the bottoms and embroider a monogram on them. I ordered some for a last minute order and thankfully I only needed three out the five for the order. One of the diapers had a small black stain on it so I could not use it to make a burp cloth for a customer. Luckily this is rare but I still felt like it only deserved four stars because nothing should be stained that I am purchasing brand new.

We bought these to use as burp cloths, and they are our favorite - they blow every other kind out of the water. We keep ordering more, because they are so great, and also so cheap! They will feel a little bit rough out of the package, but after washing and drying, they are nice and soft - the gauze fabric looks and feels similar to cotton muslin, but it is much thicker and more absorbent. We also use them when bathing our newborn baby - we soak one in the warm water and lay it over her belly and legs to keep her warm, since it covers much more of her than a washcloth.

I bought these to create a custom burp cloth to go with a baby gift.I washed and dried one diaper for comparison and to get a leg up on anticipated shrinkage. You should not expect a cotton "anything", to come out of the wash as it went in, prewashed or not. This is no different. That said, a nice pressing restored a crisp and new look beautifully. That isn't practical for daily burping/diapering use, so expect the appearance to be rippled with a bit of shrinkage after laundering. Note: After laundering and pressing, mine measured about 1/2" shorter in length with no change to the width. The hand of the diaper is very nice; sturdy feeling, while at the same time, soft.

I don't know what people give at baby showers these days, but this is something my daughter did not get. I read the reviews of many cloth diapers and liked what I read here. These do not disappoint. They are soft, thick and hold their shape. They remind me of the kind I had 21 & 27 years ago for my kids. I love these. I bought some for my daughter, some for here and gave her the extras. I try to have a bit of everything so if they forget to pack it the world won't fall apart. If you want a great burp cloth, look no further. If you want a practical, useful gift for momma & baby - this is one of them. (So many of the clothes we get at yard sales were gifts people got and never even took the tags off. The kids grew too fast, had too many clothes or wrong season for the size.) It's not a "dumb gift" -it's a great practical gift.

We don't use them as diapers -- we were given some as a gift, and loved them so much we ordered another set. These are fantastic, all-purpose cloths. We always leave one on the change table to keep the surface clean. They are also great as burp cloths. They do change their size and softness quite substantially once they've been in the wash a few times, but it's not really a drawback for what we use them for. They wash up beautifully with some baby Oxyclean powder.

I've used the terry cloth as well as the flannel type of burp cloths and they do nothing next to this. I also used a thinner gauze Gerber cloth that does not absorb nearly as much. These are the best! They are large, so they actually cover your shoulder. My baby had reflux for a little bit and the most I would need was a couple of these in a day, but usually one lasts all day long. I bought three packs to be sure that I always have one on hand so I don't have to use the other types. They are also his favorite thing to chew on with when teething next to his Sophie giraffe. Like someone else said they get pillowy after washing so they are very soft and absorbent. It's sort of misleading when they come out of the package because they seem flat and more rough before you wash them.

Haven't used for diapering, but found a ton of other uses! We bought 2 packs initially, but went back for another pack after having our daughter for about a month. Some highlights of the many uses:1. We mainly use these as burp cloths. They are super absorbent and her larger messes don't get through like they would with towels and other cloths. They are also larger than your average burp cloth...super helpful because the spit up is not usually well contained!2. We keep a few in the diaper bag and use these when changing her in areas outside of the changing table. Great to put under her head to catch any spit up that occurs during a change. Can also place under her diaper to catch anything the happens during the change.3. I tuck on of these into my bra when nursing to effectively line the area under her- catches any overflow or accidental spit ups that occur when eating. This has saved quite a few shirts... and probably pants too when there's a big spit up.4. This sounds strange but it works - line my nighttime nursing bra with one of these folded lengthwise. Way better than nursing pads since the bras shift during the night and pads aren't alway positioned to catch the milk. This covers me from side to side and top to bottom and with the double layer, nothing gets through to my shirt or sheets! This is the list after 8 weeks. It's not 101 yet, but you get the idea. Worthwhile purchase.
