This sensor measures the proportion of oxygen in the exhaust gases. Using this measurement, the engine management computer can adjust the air/fuel ratio near the optimum value of 14.7:1. At this ratio, engine performance, emissions, and fuel economy are all optimized. This original equipment oxygen sensor has been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.

I installed headers, mid pipe, high flow catalytic converter, Flowmaster flow FX muffler with everything connected using mandrel bent tubing. My '88 k1500 wasn't running very good so I did a little bit of research and somebody said I should install a three wire heated O2 sensor. Knowing these trucks respond better to OEM spec parts I decided to go with this O2 sensor. It fit perfectly and with the right tool it was very easy to install. It is definitely a quality products you can expect from AC Delco as my issues completely went away after a week of driving.

I installed on 93 k1500 just before I replaced the Y pipe and catalytic converter to get more flow. Yes, it made a difference in performance of the truck.

I purchased this O2 sensor because I performed some upgrades to my exhaust system, Shorty headers, JBA Y pipe and a hi flow Cat. I had a slight surge going on before I installed this package and now there is no surging. The recommendation came off of a OBS forum I'm a member of and, this upgrade worked wonderfully. Much better driving truck now.

The O2 sensor came with thread grease & fit right into place. I purchased the 3 lead adapter cable (also sold on Amazon) to complete the install. I have a 1990 GMC K2500 4x4 350 (slightly board) with a 4 bolt main. It has stock TBI w/3" exhaust all the way out from the stock headers. Transmission is the early Allison 3 speed w/4x4 High. Like everyone else with these old beasts, MPG pretty much vacuums.I've done some swapping of top end components, and some other swaps of old for new (radiator, coil, etc. etc.) and have followed the instruction of adjusting the EGR/Vacuum unit. In my case, my engine runs cooler (likely because of the new radiator and the 3" exhaust). After install, (battery disconnected during so to reset the ECM)... I took the truck on a long 1 hour run as to get the 1st of 3 evals programmed into the ECM. After about a week, I have noticed the truck starts/runs smoother during its warm-up, and the warm-up isn't as long. Another thing I noticed is the shifting changed. (Yes, it did). Instead of running through the 3 speeds quicker, it actually spreaded them out. (No, I'm not imagining things). As for MPG, I can't really tell just yet. For around town, I might? .... be getting another 1-2 MPG more?, but still have some adjustments to do. Its the long run down south from me (a 16hr drive) where I'll really tell the difference.Over-all, adding this sensor has shown to be an improvment.

Use this O2 sensor for the 3 wire heated sensor upgrade for a 1990 gmc with a 305. Works excellent.

I have a 94 C1500 305 GM truck, On its 3rd o2 sensor now, I see that they changed the design to a DENSO style o2 sensor. No complaints! One day my truck was running terrible in closed loop, Threw a o2 sensor code, I thought at around 60k miles of use on the old Ac delco replacement sensor it was time to replace it, I did, The fuel trims and performance with this o2 sensor is great! Easy fix, It took just a few minutes I even have a YouTube Video on it [...]

Used as a replacement for the single wire O2 sensor that my 89 Camaro IROCZ came with. Works much better than the non heated units and gives far better readings to the ECM. Helped eliminate the annoying idle surge issue that would happen once the car came up to temp and entered closed loop. Wire it up to a switched 12V source like the fuel pump relay so the heater only turns on when the engine is running.
