As has been mentioned, there are many aftermarket options for this part. I went with the OEM as the original lasted over 200K miles on my wife's Outback. Installation is simple. Replacing worn sway bar links is instant gratification. The clunking noise from the front suspension is gone and the car handles much better. I replaced the sway bar bushings as well. Given the mileage on the car, I don't expect to do this job again.

Purchased for a 2005 Subaru Outback. Removing the old ones was a bit of a pain but install was easy. These and new sway bar bushings made a huge difference in handling.

There are a lot of choices for aftermarket for this part. Went OEM and glad I did. Great price, fast shipping. Best price I could find that included the OEM bolts as well. One of these links were broken on my 2009 Forester, after replacing both the car steers fantastic, much tighter steering wheel. Not boaty like it was before,
