My Snapper 48” ZTR with a FS600V Kawasaki engine had a pretty good oil gravity leak when it sat between mowings. The whole back end was covered in oily dirt. I finally gave YouTube a look to see where the most common source of oil leaks on that engine were. Turns out the governor shaft seal was very common. I ordered a pair(in case I messed up the initial installation) and installed one of them. It’s been a month or so and it has yet to leak. The toughest part was removing the worn seal in a confined space.
