To me it makes sense to buy an original factory filter. They fit perfectly and you get peace of mind knowing it is the perfect spec for your motorcycle. I don't think an oil filter is where you should attempt to save a dollar.

The filters come with gaskets pre-lubed. 👍👍Wish it was not from China but the factory filter is the same.
