I was taking fruit to a nursing home once a week but with dentures they could not bite apples or thin peels so I decided to take fruit cups. I needed cheap disposable utensils so they could eat with in the commom room and these worked great.

I LIVED IN A RETIREMENT HOME SO KNIVES, FORKS AND SPOONS, ETC., ALL SUPPLIED IN THE DINING ROOM. HOWEVER, THE HOME WAS CLOSED DUE TO BAD WIRING AND WATER. I RENTED A COTTAGE WHERE FOOD IS SUPPLIED BUT NOT THE FORKS AND SUCH SO THIS WORKS JUST FINE. USE ONCE AND TOSS AND RATHER THAN TO WAIT SO MANY WEEKS FOR ENOUGH STEEL FORKS TO PILE UP TO MAKE IT WORTHWHILE TO WASH - CLEAN FIRST AND PUT IN THE DISH WASHER. SAVES MY TIME AND SOAP.

Good for quick meals, especially anything cold. If the food is too hot, the fork will start to warp. However, it beats having to wash metal forks day and night, so it's worth buying for those everyday meals.
