The cured material has superior adhesion and elongation properties and is very resistant to engine oils and coolants. It is also oxygen sensor safe and will not corrode metal surfaces. This is the original production sealant used in GM engine plants. The sealant is compatible with all synthetic, synthetic blend, and minerals oils as well as coolant including DEX-COOL. The assembly may be filled with oil or coolant immediately after applying the sealant and torqueing the bolts. The maximum working time of this sealant is 20 minutes. The sealant will fully cure in 24 hours. Recommended for all engine applications.

Always use this stuff as it has perfect adhesive properties as many don't. I don't have to worry about leaks or not bonding if prepped correct. Make sure you clean your surface off with alcohol or something similar for a solid leak proof bond

Best sealant you can buy. I keep 2 on hand for any sealing type jobs on vehicles.

Purchased this to replace the upper oil pan seal on my truck and when I received the package the expiration date was purposely removed. Now I have to hope it is still good and will seal correctly

It’s the only sealant to use when doing a oil pan replacement. Let cure overnight no leaks. Well worth the price do it once and forget about leaks

The factory service manual specified engine sealant for all aluminum GM engines. Same product as ACDelco 10-2010 RTV Engine Sealant

Very good sealant. I was able to get a leak-tight seal at the rear of the oil pan on a traditional Pontiac V8 using this product. If you know about Pontiacs, then you know how significant an achievement that was.
