I have installed two sets of these in my 2015 Colorado and they work great. I now have down points at all point around the bed. I took the added step of using a razor knife to trim the center of the rubber grommets that are removed to insert the rings so that the grommets can be reinstalled around the ring. It tidies up the installation and keep dirt and other junk from getting behind the ring.

Great fit. Great look. Easy to install. Wish they didn't only come in sets of four, I had 9 spots. (Filled the 9th with a Bull Ring. Looks OK.)

Fit perfectly and extremely sturdy. But I would not expect anything less from GM.

Delivered on time and as advertised. Packaged in a OEM box and they fit my 2016 Canyon perfectly. These tie downs are very handy and give you multiple points to lash cargo. Very easy to install, move, and adjust.

What happens if you try to remove these? Well the back of the mount falls somewhere inside the fender well. One could only hope that it hits the ground where you can find it. If not, you will be buying more of these.

Would give it 5 stars but the design does not make it very easy to remove the hook to move to a new location on the truck. There are instructions on how to do it but I look at the process and see myself dropping part of the hook down inside the body

These tie down rings are necessary if you want to use the GearOn bed divider or the GearOn cross rails or both. They fit any of 13 locations in the Colorado/Canyon bed, so they can even be used without any other accessories, making securing toys and gear relatively convenient. To use them, you must pry out the hard plastic bed plugs. Like others, I did not want to scrape up the paint surrounding the plugs, so I used a plastic pry tool to get them started, then a conventional wide bladed screwdriver to pop them out.If you have a sprayed in bed liner, you may have to use a single edged razor blade, X-acto knife or similar to cut around the plug before you can pry it free. If you have a factory drop in liner like mine, then the liner will have a rubber plug right over the plastic bed plug. The rubber plug is easy to remove with your fingers, but the bed liner will sit away from the bed by some amount making it just a little more difficult to remove the hard plastic plug.Once the plugs are removed, you can install the rings. Actually, they are just big "molly bolts" that fit in the mounting holes. Simply fold down the spring loaded ears of the device, push the assembly into the hole and then tighten the ring bolt with a crescent wrench or heavy screwdriver. I recommend that you don't over tighten the bolts so that they can be moved to other locations later if you so desire. By the way, be sure to pay attention to how the assembly fits the contours of the bed surrounding the hole into which the rings fit. It will be obvious that there is a right way and a wrong way. If you have the drop in bed liner, the rings will still mount to the steel bed and not overlap the bed liner. The hole in the bed liner is larger than the hole in the bed itself to allow the ring assembly to mate just to the bed. These may seem a bit expensive for what you get, but they work perfectly with the other GearOn stuff like the divider (which I have) and the cross rails. They also provide a lot of flexibility since you have 13 places they can be attached. They will provide strong anchor points for most uses, but come with a warning that they are not to be used with more than 250 pounds of force because the bed walls themselves will distort.
