Put a RC 1" lift on my Canyon to reduce the rake a bit. These (don't come in pairs) may not have been necessary with just a 1" lift but it was bothering me that my shocks may be working harder than they should. The lift did increase the distance between the original bump stop and control arm by at least 5/8" and I feel like the ride was slightly more bouncy after the level kit. These ended up being about a 1/2" longer than the stock ones to make up the difference. Fit perfect, the gap between CA and bumper looks like it did before the 1" level. I feel like the shocks recover faster going over bumps now (less bouncy) Hope this helps someone contemplating the same thing. Posted a before and after for reference.

After installing a 1.25” eibach leveling springs on my ‘18 Colorado Zr2 I noticed a big gap from the bump stop and LCA, so I purchased these. Very easy to install, all I used was a flathead and a hammer to pop the original one out. These are more soft and spongy than the original which is better imo.

Minimal sunlight exposure turns these things into a really gross amber color.Definitely going to end up painting themAnd I really worry about how long they're going to last before they rot away

My trucks control arm bumpers were deteriorated and noticed my truck was very bouncy going around corners.I read that these bumpers are especially important to be installed with vehicles that have a Torsion Bar suspension.I popped the old pieces from the frame mounts and lubed up the new bushings and popped them in.Not hard to install at all.I took my truck for a test drive along the same route and noticed a immediate improvement in the handling.I should have replaced the bushings a long time ago.

Perfect fit for 2000 Suburban 1500 4wd with Auto-ride suspension. Easiest way to access is to jack up front, and go in from behind the front tires. Getting old ones out was a bit of an effort as they were crumbling apart as I pried with large flat blade screw driver. But, I finally got them out by jamming the blade down hard behind them and prying. The new ones went in quite easily by angling them to get part of them under two of the retaining "stays", then using the screw driver to compress the bumper material a bit to get it under the other two. For reference, it took me longer to jack up the car and position the jackstands than it took to replace the bumpers.Update February 16, 2019: I can't believe the difference in ride and handling since replacing my deteriorated bumpers. Since mine simply got old and literally eroded away, the ride got more "floaty" over time. My Suburban dipped at stops, and also "rolled" a little too much in the corners. So much so that I had been researching new shocks. But now that the new bumpers are in, the vehicle no longer floats, or dips or rolls excessively, and I actually feel much more in control again. I attribute all this to the fact that the car is meant to sit down on these bumpers, and they are actually a part of the suspension, and not just a bumper that prevents metal to metal contact when bottoming out. It appears that they were designed to work in concert with the shocks and springs. I wish I had replaced them long ago, but every time I jacked up the car to work on it, the suspension would extend so I never realized the car was supposed to ride on the bumpers. In a way, I am glad my auto-ride shocks are so expensive to replace. Otherwise I would have mistakenly replaced my shocks only to find out later that a big part of my problem was the bumpers being worn away. If your bumpers are eroded, I recommend you replace them before you do anything else. It could save you quite a bit of headache, and money!

Go through about two sets a year of these with a 3 - 5 drop on my truck. Think this set was old stock as they were a bit brittle when I put them on. They do squeak a little but what 14 year old truck doesn't anyway.

Fit perfectly for 2003 Tahoe. These control armbumpers are an integral part of the torsion bar suspension on these vehicles. Apparently without them (or when they get worn out) ride quality gets harsh. I've also read they carry some of the weight of the vehicle and provide proper ride height. The originals are black and these are yellow(ish). As others have noted, the color varies and the two I got were slightly different. Replacements are made by BASF as were the originals. My Tahoe was 1/2" lower on drivers front before replacing. It is now level!!Once the vehicle is jacked up to take the weight off of the suspension, they popped out easily with a screw driver. Following other reviewers' tips I sprayed silicone lubricant on them to ease installation. They are certainly cheap enough to just replace regardless of how worn out yours are.

Bought these for my 04 Tahoe LS 2WD after replacing the shocks and seeing that my old bumps were virtually gone. No local shops had them so I had to wait a few days.Install took 10 minutes in my garage. Simply jack up the front end a few inches then turn the wheel all the way RIGHT for the drivers side and LEFT for the passenger side. It's way easier to get at from behind the wheel. For mine, one of the old ones simply pulled out with a screwdriver. The other one was so brittle it broke in half and I basically had to hack away at the remaining rubber to get it all the way out. Finally to put the new ones in, put a little grease or oil around the bottom to help it slide in. Tilt it towards the back so the tabs on the back and away from you catch. Then simply use a flathead screwdriver to push around the tabs until it clicks into place. You won't damage this foam, it's tough.I don't know if it improved my ride quality any, but it sure makes me feel better knowing they are replaced.
